Paying for fiber and barely getting download speeds above 25mb/s. Not to mention the service is in and out constantly.

Over priced when it cuts in and out. Doorbell camera would always be offline and I blamed the Doorbell...then other camera/products had issues. Switched to t-mobile home internet for 50 bucks a month and everything works. Speeds were also very slow when I was paying for fiber. Don't waste your time/money.

Used to have Windstream, when Internet would go down or have questions on a bill could easily spend hours on the phone to get it resolved.Neighbor recently got Kinetic installed. The crew from Kinetic buried the line on my property, outside their right of way. Even though my neighbor told them to stop. In doing so they drove over 2 trees in my yard. They offered to replace them and now stopped responding to any messages.Service Electric cable from Birdsboro has been much easier to work with. The internet may cost a little more but the service crew is professional and the Internet is exactly as advertised

This was the biggest scam of a internet service I have ever seen. I was charged $60 for speeds 15mbps down and 2mbps up. Dial up was faster than this garbage service. I was promised a fiber line when moving in and they never installed it and kept telling me different things each time I called. Tried talking with customer service and was essentially told there was nothing they could do. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!!!

This company is bad!!!! They will over charge you just because you don’t do auto pay. They threatened me today that I have to pay $100 dollars because I’m not on auto pay. I will be making a visit to their office today.

Not the best service. They make too many mistakes. We moved from Ephrata to Stevens and it was a hassle to switch Windstream from one location to the next. First, the move order was entered wrong which caused delays. Then they billed me wrong for their service once we moved, $30 more! I will be switching internet providers if this hassle keeps up.

Solid 1-star business here. I'll be fair and factual in my review, leaving out any subjective understanding of the experience I had with them. I called customer service interested in a promotion advertised on their website. In terms of cost, it's competitive with similar businesses, yet, does not match anything that was discussed with the sales department. I discovered in my conversations with the four representatives that the discrepancies between their website and their sales team was not a matter of deceitful advertising, but rather a matter of having employees that lack a basic understanding of their own services and products. From simple questions regarding promotions to slightly more technical ones abour Internet speeds and fiber optic connections, everyone had different answers. I asked if they had military discounts or offers for military veterans who were service connected and disabled as a result of service. The first rep I asked told me what he believed was how a military discount worked. In fact, he explained that military and veteran discounts NEVER have anything to do the companies who offer them, and that it's the actual military who decides where we get discounts. He told me that even well known department stores that offer small discounts only do so because the military made a deal with them and make money off it somehow to support the government. According to him, he knows this because his girlfriends uncle has a close friend that was in the military. (Enough said on that). Another huge issue I had was that, when i asked to receive an email regarding the deal I was being offered with a breakdown of costs, (just wanted to compare it to another company) they told me that I needed to complete the order with them first and make an appointment for install. I did, but in doing so, they did a soft credit check on me and it triggered a security freeze with equinox. I asked why they needed to check my credit for a services that was not bound by contract, and I got 3 different answers from 3 different people. For anyone reading this that might be interested in kinetic, ask yourself how this sort of interaction with 4 different employees on the front lines of this business would make you feel. For me, I felt like I couldn't trust them. I felt like they would be extremely unreliable if I ever required any assistance with my internet service or bill inquiries should they arise, as they always do. (That's life). It's the employees that you first encounter that really set the tone for any relationship a customer has with a business. I would highly suggest not doing business with this company, even if the numbers were good.

While I was pretty satisfied with their service at first, that very quickly changed after they promised 3 months of free internet for the first 3 months, only for me to sign into my account on month 4 with over $200 worth of fees to pay and a notice of service cancellation if I did not pay right away. Be warned, apparently hidden in the terms of the deal was a requirement to sign up for autopay. If an email had been sent out reminding me to sign up for autopay this would have been fine; however, not only was an email not sent regarding this, I did not receive ANY emails that I was being charged at all. Apparently after opting out of paper billing, you are not automatically signed up for billing emails. Because of this, I was forced to pay late fees on charges that I was not aware I was even being billed for.

Telemarketer called me about Internet service when I told him I wasn’t interested and I was happy with what I had and if he wasn’t offering 6 free months I wasn’t interested the guy told me I must be having a very bad day thst I woke up on the wrong side of the bed and that I should realize that there’s always a better place in life to be. Well I didn’t know that they offered Dr. Phil position and he doesn’t know how my day is going and I don’t need his opinion. He then questioned why I answer the phone if I was busy or not having a good day.

Their customer service/online tech support is a joke. When I switched to them a year ago it was great. Now I called for help and they refused to help me and told me to buy the part myself. But couldn’t tell me where I could purchase it. Tried looking at Best Buy for the part and nothing. So now I have to wait til it gets delivered from a sketchy website online. Thanks a lot for the help.

Service worked great until they switched over to FIOS. Now my Internet drops constantly with a "connected without Internet" error message- and all they can say is "well it's still connected". Yea- the problem is I don't have Internet!!! Connection is pointless if I don't have Internet. Kind of the point of having your service! What kind of twilight zone is this? And the tech also said she has no idea what I'm talking about "being switched over to FIOS" even though it was a very recent switch they came out to do on their own.
