My husband and I went to the Erdenheim minute clinic for vaccines. The clinic was very clean. We were called in a timely manner (we made an appt). The practitioner April was the best. She took the time to explain everything and was truly a pleasure to be around. Kudos to CVS for hiring her.

I had to visit this clinic on a Saturday at lunch time and feared that I would wait for hours. Nurse McLaughlin was able to fit me right in and could not have been more kind, empathetic and knowledgeable. She somehow made testing positive for strep throat much less awful than it was!

Went to minute clinic on 06/29/25 for ear wax removal. Had April in the past and she was great.
Had Maureen McLaughlin today and she was horrible. I was 5 minute’s late and then had issues with the app checking in. She did not care and kept hounding me that I was late. She was rude and unprofessional. After I told her she was rude she asked what I wanted to do. I said fix my issue. Next she sprayed in my ear so hard it hurt me and did not check to see if she got everything. She should not be working with the public with her attitude. Then she said I can purchase ear drops if my ear keeps hurting. Well she hurt me more and now will have to rethink using CVS in the future.
I hope no one else has to go through what I went through today at this location in Erdenheim pa. Stay away from Maureen McLaughlin.

Where do I begin... I was at this minute clinic multiple times in mid-December of 2024. Christmas morning, I woke up to obscenely high charges, over $500 worth, for these appointments. Not only was the charge higher than the costs listed on the website for the services I received without insurance, but I was told that my insurance would cover it all by the clinic staff multiple times. My insurance card was scanned into the system at the beginning of my first of three consecutive appointments, which I watched the nurse do with my own eyes. After over 7 CALANDER MONTHS of calling incessantly, doing the job of CVS, my insurance, and acting as my own advocate, this case is beginning to get resolved. Every single customer service rep I have spoken to has given me drastically different answers, which has been numerous people after calling multiple times a week for almost 7 months. No one was able to tell me what was going on with certainty at any point in this process. About fifty percent of the time the person I spoke to was incredibly rude, and of those employees, five of them were representatives of internal billing. They were at the top of this list. I had requested to speak with management on multiple accounts, and I have always been denied.
This entire case has been a nightmare because the woman who took my insurance card info could not input information correctly. I am a full-time master’s student with three jobs of my own, planning a statewide conference, and my wedding. This situation is disgusting, appalling, and utterly disrespectful. It is unnerving that the situation has come to this. Nothing got managed unless I called multiple times a week and pushed for it to be done on the phone where I can hear them do so. I have had to carve out tremendous amounts of time to address this while attempting to balance my own life and responsibilities. Carving out a minimum of half an hour every time I call as the wait times are outrageous, has become unrealistic and has almost cost me my job on multiple accounts. Every time I called, I was put on hold for several minutes at a time while they “investigated my case” despite telling them the whole story every single time I spoke with anyone. It became increasingly more challenging to trust anyone on the other side of the phone as every “solution” or response I was provided was based in misinformation. No one I spoke with communicated with anyone else overseeing my claim as no one is in the same department. I have had to put off my other expenses as this problem, which is CVS’s fault, was more than I could handle.
After 171 days of fighting tooth and nail, arguing, and advocating for myself tirelessly, I FINALLY received my money back. With that being said, I will NEVER be using MinuteClinic again! I will also be telling my friends and family about the debacle, in grave detail, to deter them from utilizing these services as well. From people who have degrees in medicine, it would be likely to assume that they could scan in a card correctly.
I went to a MinuteClinic as I thought it would have been easier than fighting with my doctor’s office, however I was deeply mistaken. If I could revoke the stars other people have reviewed this, I would without hesitation. This process has created unnecessary distress. I could not possibly discourage the usage of this company or their services enough.
Please, save yourself the hassle and find somewhere else. Your wallet and mental health will thank you.

You must have an appointment, even though it’s called walk in. Very frustrating. We were there, my son couldn’t breathe and they sent us elsewhere anyways bc we didn’t have an appointment

Maureen, NP was so friendly and efficient in her diagnosis. The pharmacy was fast – filled my prescription in under 15 minutes. Pleasant waiting area. Overall high quality experience.
Edit: Received a second opinion and reduced original rating due to completely incorrect diagnosis. Strong antibiotics were not needed for a viral illness. Strep throat test was not sent out for culturing after negative rapid strep results. Will consider my condition before returning for future assessments.

Delightful experience getting my flu and Covid shots here. Maureen, long time Nurse Practitioner was kind and knowledgeable. Quite possibly the least painful shots I have ever received. I would strongly recommend this practitioner. Even after 25 years in the healthcare field, she has retained her compassion. As a fellow healthcare provider, I truly appreciate this.
