Hands down the absolute best experience of my life. They treated me like family and actually cared about my wants and needs. While waiting, I was offered coffee or water. The test drive wasn't limited. I worked with Ray Rood from here and he was absolutely amazing. A down to earth gentleman who gives it to you straight. No cutting corners. He's a great guy and is extremely knowledgeable. Thank you Hallman and Ray for the great experience and new truck!

I purchased what was suppose to be a BRAND NEW vehicle from Dave Hallman Chevrolet, in August of 2019. However, when the salesman & I completed the final paperwork for my "new" car, Hallman Chevrolet willed out a car w/ 150 miles already on it & a random knocking noise coming from underneath it, whenever I tapped the break. I have taken my car back to the dealership 5 or 6 times since the date of purchase, asking what the noise might be. Now, a year and a half later, I hear what sounds like a spring or coil snap & dense fog of smoke starts streaming from under the hood of my car! IT IS MY PERSONAL OPINION, that if you are a person of color (and gawd forbid also a female), DO NOT purchase a vehicle from this dealership. Your business is not appreciated, and you will be treated with condescending and dismissive attitudes by the service technicians. Of course I could be over thinking it...& perphaps Joel, Dean & others in service department are not dismissive at all...but instead, simply irreversibly & severely incompetent.

I definitely recommend this dealership to anyone that is interested in commercial/fleet leasing or purchasing. The regular sales and service is subpar. Multiple times I have dropped my truck off to get serviced, and 5 hours later I find out "they didn't have time for it" even though I had an appointment. When my wife was looking to get an Equniox the price was much higher at Hallman Chevrolet than other dealerships. The lease deals offered were absolutely insanely high.

My girlfriend purchased a car from Hallman and it has not stopped having major problems. Initially they began charging us for repairs until I expressed my extreme frustration with the ongoing issues. Granted this is a used vehicle, however, it was still quite expensive, $13,000, to have to continuously invest hundreds and potentially thousands of dollars into it. These issues have been very dangerous as well. Wiper motor going out during a storm. That was repaired. Now, the new one just did the same thing, leaving her stranded on the side of the freeway with one of her kids. Power steering issues, multiple electrical issues, window motor, catalytic converter, muffler, new tires needed, just to name a few. All after being assured the vehicle was inspected and gone over and had no problems at all!

A year ago I came in for rear wiper issues. Shortly after I got everything fixed they were still acting weird, but I didn't want my car in the shop for another week so I just dealt with it until more things started happening.Last month, I came in because the rear wiper wasn't working, the rear hatch wouldn't open, and wiper fluid wasn't coming out, to name a few things wrong with that stuff in the rear. Also, when I hit the rear defrost, it would sometimes work the wiper. They fixed the hatch and wiper, but lost my rear wiper cover for the bolt area and left tools in my car, and the rear wiper fluid wasn't working still. I had to go back.Went back again, had to get a new wiper fluid motor, and luckily, they found my cover for the wiper. However, a week later, my wiper was still acting up.When the front wipers were on and the rear ones, the rear ones would take baby steps, inching along bit by bit. This happened before too, so still not fixed. Today, they are still doing that, and now when I turn on the rear defrost windshield wiper fluid turns on in the rear. Turn on the rear wipers without fluid and the fluid still comes out. Have to go back yet again. And they will probably admit no fault. Even if it's something totally different, they didn't catch it the last few times and probably replaced a bunch of stuff I didn't need replaced. Last visit I spent over $800 so I'm pretty upset that they are going to try and charge me more, but I have to go there just in case they will give me a break, hoping they admit fault or the fact that they didn't diagnose it properly the first two or three times, so maybe it will cost less or nothing. Will update this review when I found out. But so far, I can't recommend this place at all.

Very happy with the service i received from the sales person, Mike Scheu. Very responsive. I didn't just stop in and purchase a vehicle. I took my time and shopped around. Mike was very responsive whenever I had questions. It was nice having a phone number that I could text whenever I had a question. I always received a prompt reply. I did end up buying a 2019 Santa fe from Dave Hallman and I love the car and I'm glad I bought it there. For years, I've been driving out of state to get a better deal. This time, the best deal was only a few short miles from my house. What a relief not having to deal with a title transfer from the Ohio dealership . The last time it took several months (AAA's fault, not the dealership) and then having to go to AAA to get a registration and then get the car inspected, etc...I drove off the lot and was good to go. Had an appt time to pick up the new car and all the paperwork was ready to go. Of course they try to sell you all kinds of other products. I didn't buy any and never felt pressured to do so. All-in-all, a great experience. Did I just say that about buying a car??? Yes, I did.
