Eastway Lanes is considered the best bowling alley in the area by many, with the best lanes that feel very nice. It is a great place for families, friends, and events like leagues and birthday parties, where the staff is pleasant, very friendly, and helpful. The atmosphere is comfortable and warmer than other places. The bowling alley has a beautiful spacious bar inside and the smell of fresh coffee is amazing, with very good food when available. However, the kitchen, bar, and concessions are sometimes not open, leaving only vending machines that require cash. Some equipment, like the vending and lane machines, needs an upgrade. There can also be a limited selection of bowling balls, particularly for kids or those needing balls cut for bigger fingers. The lanes use a bit more oil than usual, which is perfect for most bowlers.
We were there for a Fraternal Bowling Tournament and it got off to a rough start with a power outage. Many of the businesses in the are were also affected. The staff at the lanes couldn't have been more gracious and accommodating. I remember some of them from previous tournaments and they have always been great with us
