Gateway Games is a cozy, cool little hole-in-the-wall shop serving Erie's gaming community since 1992. The store focuses on board games, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Pokemon, Dungeons & Dragons, and more, with tons of interesting games and cards on the shelves. It offers a great vibe as a nice, judgement-free zone with free tables to use at any time. The amount of games and gaming accessories available is wild, with extremely reasonable prices. Weekly gaming events and game nights are super fun and welcoming. The place is very clean and organized. The staff is great, described as chill, smiley, and super nice, always offering advice and knowledge. While generally positive, some notes mention it can be kind of hard to find, and a past experience noted a staff member who wasn't the friendliest and a weird person outside. The shop is now under new ownership.
