returned a rental car and they never processed the return so i got charged for the car for 65 days until noticed the charges, after calling to have the problem fixed the guy who answered said he would get right back to me and then took down my number. after not hearing from him for 2 days I tried calling back 50 times over the course of 5 days and have not had my calls answered once. I believe he is ignoring my calls on purpose. this is unacceptable and terrible customer service.

Requested a rental through insurance, never received a call about picking up. Attempted to get ahold of anyone in the office but no one picked up or called me back after multiple attempts over 2 days. Couldn't even get through to Hertz customer service; after being passed around from department to department, I sat on hold for over an hour before just hanging up. Cancelled the request and switched to Enterprise.

This location is the only my company uses when our vans break down. It has to be the worst Hertz has. It is a franchise, and no one ever answers the phone or returns messages. The vehicle promised during the reservation is usually not available. If there are any issues with the reservation or the vehicle Hertz flat out refuses to help because it's a franchise. Save yourself the headache and do not rent from this location.

I always believe on giving a chance regardless of other people’s reviews;BIG MISTAKE!They open at 12pm got there at 12:10 to finding no one at the counter after 12 minutes I asked the car rental counter next to it if they knew someone was even at the Hertz; a nice guy said yes, I will massege him, 15 minutes later he comes to the desk and tells me he has no vehicles until 3pm, didn’t even cared I had a to be at a wedding.Lied in my face, said he try calling me and said my voicemail was full and couldn’t leave a voice massage, which was not and to prove it I called my phone and sure enough he lied to me.Told me that if I wanted I could walk outside the airport to the main road and to the Budget car rental about half a mile down the road, I thought to myself;Are you kidding me?Straight didn’t care , I got 2 autistic kids , no sympathy no nothing.

I’ve been a Hertz gold member, and get rentals every week for work. This has been the WORST experience I’ve ever had with a hertz. Supposed to get a Full size (five star) car. They gave me an extremely small compact car and said “well that’s all we have”. Don’t rent here, they make hertz look like a joke.

I rented a car through Expedia to be picked up at the Hertz in the Erie Airport. Their website says they open at noon and my reservation was for 12:30pm. By 1:30pm no one had showed up. All other car rental desks were open and assisting incoming flight passengers. Hertz just never showed up, leaving us stranded. No staff and no communication. Won't use the company again.

Not usually a fan of rental car places whether alone leave reviews. However I felt that I needed to leave a review since the young man behind the counter at the airport was nice, friendly and outgoing. More times than not the rental car people are rude, seem bothered and generally act like they have the worst job in the world. So it was surprising to see someone so full of positive energy and overall good vibe... Good job Hertz

Waited for 2 hours after I had made a reservation for a vehicle. Noone was at the office. Appointed pickup time was for 430 pm. Definitely not a place I will rent a vehicle from in the future.

Only way I got answers was by going there physically. Guy at the desk continued to lie despite being openly proven wrong. What a joke. Ended up costing me out of pocket. Do not go here and do not do business here!

Employee told me they don’t have car for even though I have reservations with them they force me to spend more money because I have to rent from another company at Erie airport.

If I could I would give them a 0. I left my purse in the rental when I dropped it off. It was after hours so I called when they reopened that night and no answer. I went in the next morning a half hour after they opened. No one was at the desk. I finally got someone to get the employee. He said that there was no purse in the SUV when him and another guy cleaned it out the night before and said that I couldn't look in it when I asked because he already rented it. He took my # and said that he would look again when it came back. I told him that it had to be stolen because I know I left it in there. I called later and asked him to call the person who has the rental. He got their voicemail. They called back and said that they would look in the morning. That morning I filed a police report. They called back that afternoon and said they found my purse. If the employees would have done their job and cleaned the SUV out like they are supposed to this would have never happened. I will never rent from them again.

After landing in Erie, I proceeded to the rental car counter for Hertz with my reservation. I was informed they were completely out of cars. I was then given the phone number to a company called Rent A Wreck. No thank you. I was able to get the last remaining vehicle from National (a full sized mini-van which was way larger than I needed) but at least I had a vehicle. The lack of a car being available at Hertz cost me over $200 more for my car rental. I won't give Hertz my business again.

Employee left earlier and then said hes not coming back because he had no booked rentals. It was explained that I had confirmation however they still refused to come back.

I booked a reservation for 5pm and the location wasn’t even open. Was posted that it opened at 1030 and i sat there until 1130 with no one getting me a car. HORRIBLE BUSINESS. I will never do business with them again
