The room looked like a renovated storage shed that got a once-over cleaning prior to my arrival. Some chemical was sprayed in the room in an attempt to give it a pleasant odor. There was a 3x12" hole in the wall adjacent to the heating/AC unit and some cobwebs. The bathtub had a giant symettrical stain across the bottom, like they had a non-slip mat applied for 30 years.Bedding appeared clean, but I slept on top of the comforter fully clothed just in case.I wanted to grab something quick and close to the highway. This seemed like the best choice considering the other seemingly low end hotels and my last experience at a Baymont Inn. There are probably cleaner options around.

I have a love hate thing for this place, I stay here about 3 to 6 times a year. The rooms are in never clean or as clean as they should be. I only stay here because of smoking rooms. If was not a smoker this would be a hard pass. The best thing is location, you have the e-way easy on easy off, taco bell , Tim Hortons there is a lot close.

If I could give a zero star I would. I booked through Expedia, enticed by appealing images, but the reality upon arrival was starkly different. The discrepancy between online photos and the actual state of the building, especially the room, was surprising. Despite a pleasant lobby and staff, the room's condition was unacceptable, with issues like blood on the floor and feces.Contacting the front desk proved challenging due to the lack of a room phone. Despite Expedia's assistance, Quality Inn refused a refund and denied requests. Attempts to speak to a manager were met with unhelpful responses, including hanging up on me 3 times and dismissing the concerns stating it wasn’t his problem and lesson learned he stated. I then called back and was put on hold for 9 minutes then tried again and my number was blocked! Absolutely unacceptable and horrible manager!!

First, they had our reservation for the wrong date. We had a large group coming and needed the rooms. It was a good thing I called the day before to change something. Otherwise we wouldn't have stayed. The heater in our room didn't work. The plug on it had marks where it was on fire. The staff was great about making us comfortable. The rooms were large and beds were soft. There was no microwave in our room. The decor was very dated.Th location was great because it was right near the highway but was hidden off the road behind a gas station. We almost passed it up.The breakfast was cereal, toast, yogurt , juice, coffee, milk and waffles. It was more like a continental breakfast. Most of our group didn't eat and went to Bob Evans.

BED BUGS.This place was like a motel. The staff are rude and incompetent. When talking to a staff member the night of check in they kept their AirPods in their ears and refused to take them out while talking to us. We had to change rooms three times. One of the times the room had no towels and lacked a shower curtain. The rooms smelt AWFUL.We slept in the third room we had to move, where the shower was disgusting and the water that came out was yellow tinged. And awoke to finding bedbugs crawling on the bed. When telling the morning staff they brushed us off and were rude.A customer was ahead of us and told him that his room had issues. Their bathtub wouldn’t drain, the door wouldn’t lock right.DO NOT RECCOMEND going here. AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL.All the rooms were dingy and dirty. Super unclean. Gross all around. Disgusting. This place should be SHUT DOWN.

DO NOT even think it might be OK for the price you pay! IF you can get past the smell, the rooms were disgusting!! First, there was discarded living room chairs & bags of garbage (?) outside our door. The room itself was one of the worst I've ever seen! Our lights wouldn't come on, the door wouldn't close properly.... We went back to the desk & told them we wanted to cancel. They didn't even question it...like it happens all the time.We then went about a block away to the Clarion Pointe (another Choice hotel). What a difference! Amazing hotel! Clean & the service is top notch! All for about the same price!Do yourself a favor...and don't waste your time!!

The place is pretty old and it shows it. Looks like it was built in the 70s and not much done to it since. Looks like it's just waiting to be redeveloped. Not handicap accessible to second story rooms and washrooms are not handicap accessible.Cable TV stopped working after about an hour and never did come back on.It was the cheapest in the area but you'd be better off spending $20 or $30 more to stay in a newer place.Rooms: Rooms were very dingy, paint was old and bad colours, plumbing was old and in bad condition.WiFi was okay, cable TV did not work.Bed wasn't very good, old and lumpy feeling. Windows were filthy and outdoor hallways and stairs were gross with gum and other nasty looking things all over the concrete

We stopped to just rest for the night. Checked in at 10:30 pm got to the room and there was stains all over the top covers. There was hair on the top pillow. Dirt in every corner on the floor, checked beds the sheets and mattress looked clean. Bed is comfortable. In the bathroom there was hair in the sink and behind the faucet on the the counter. (Looked like beard hairs) dirt in every corner, floors did not seem to be mopped. There was mold in the shower on handrails and all over the ceiling. For $120 a night, the rooms should at least be clean and mold free! I took a video but I cannot upload here.

Nasty dirty most disgusting hotel ever stayed at. First the girl at the counter had no clue what she was doing. No communication just sign here. She tried to keep my ID. The walkway to the room filled with trash and looked like had not been cleaned in years. The steps were falling apart the hand rail was loose. The room door was so heavy i could hardly open it. Once in the room i had an odor of I don't know what. I need a medical device at night the room had no plugs near the bed . No USB ports so my phone died . The shower was dirty with body hair and stains. The floor turned my socks black. I wiped part of the floor with a wash rag and it was black when i finished a small area by the sink. The bed was hard and squeaky. Something was burning my eyes. The windows looked like they wasn't cleaned in years.Do yourself a favor sleep in your car before staying here. Upon checking out i was never asked how everything was . I didn't dare check out the free breakfast who knows how nasty the kitchen is. This place is better off torn down

Absolutely catfished by this place. Extremely run down. I checked in, went to my room and immediately saw fruit flies. The floor was filthy, the room smelled, the furniture and bed was covered in hair and stains. The bed frame was a metal stand with no box spring. The vinyl flooring was ripped up under the bed. I gathered my things and left. Front desk was not apologetic and did not try to make it right. I’m 100% for economy lodging but this place was in the trenches.

In addition to the place being run down, the room dirty, the tub not draining...this place is UNSAFE! The smoke detector in our room had to be at least 25-30 years old, it was not hard-wired in & connected to the fire alarm system, and it had no battery in it. So had there been a smoke condition, it would not have activated. I took the detector down to the front desk to show them my findings & explain to them how it is supposed to be hooked up & operating. I received no answers as to why it was like it was & the front desk person didn't seem to care & stated he couldn't do anything at the time and he would have to notify the maintenance crew or building manager, neither of which were on site. We of course abruptly checked out and stayed elsewhere. I also notified the Code Enforcement Officer for the local municipality to bring it to their attention for inspection. This place is a huge public safety issue and I recommend not staying here.Safety: See above

If you have quite literally any other option of a place to go, I would strongly recommend going there. The photos they have online are completely misleading. When we booked our two rooms online the photos showed two beds with red top covers, a painting on the wall, carpet, and nice looking pillows. Online it also said they had a rollout bed available but when we arrived they said they had no roll out beds at all. Exactly zero of the things advertised is what is actually there in our rooms. The chair in the room is covered with stains, the towels are shabby, and when my sister went to use the bathroom the doorknob FELL OFF and she was worried she was going to get locked in (she was fine). The tub was slow draining and we decided it was best to wear our beach shoes in the shower rather than risk getting some sort of funky foot fungus. The second room was even worse with holes in the walls near the outlet and an even worse bathroom. Thank goodness we’re only staying for one night but in my opinion that’s one night too long. Good luck if you’re staying here.

We knew our time here would be horrible right as we walked in. When we walked into the main entrance, it smelled like cigarettes. The door to the room was outside so anyone could break in and our room door was hard to open, we had to push hard on the door to get in, the lock on the door handle didn't work but the security lock did (which isn't helpful since the staff know how to get those open) and the curtain next to the door didn't close all the way so we had to put the curtain around the door handle, and the curtain had rips in it. The window had fingerprints, kiss marks, and dirt, it looked like multiple people had pressed or wiped their faces on the inside and the outside. The room smelled musty and damp. There were spiders right above the door. The chair had stains on it. The top bed sheet wasn't even a sheet, it was more of a curtain and it had stains. Everywhere you looked there was dirt. There was no water, it looked like there were holes in the corners of the ceiling. The shower head was broken. There was something in the bathtub. We didn't dare try to find out what it was. There was dirt and grim in the fridge and the microwave. The smoke detector was so old and dirty, we didn't think it worked. The floor was sticky. One of the drawer handles was broken off. The bathroom door had scratches on it. The wood holding the beds up was unstable, when I pressed on it, it pushed in and made a loud creaking sound. The wifi router was under the sink, which was unsafe for a room that actually had water.Let me say this, we were in that room for only an hour and we left to go to a different hotel. I do not recommend this hotel at all.

Omg, worst ever. We pulled in the parking lot and said “this can’t be it”. First it’s a motel, doors open to the outside. If you can get the door open, and our deadbolt was broken on the inside. I did not see anything in the line of “suites”The smell is indescribable, something between cigarettes, urine and sweat. The exterior is painted an awful orange which seems petty but I just thought Quality brand was green and white. It looks like a super 8 is attached to the back. No carpet on the floor and for some reason the floor was always damp even with the AC running. Paint chipping off the ceiling of the shower, the tub drained slow. I didn’t see any bugs but let’s be honest I didn’t want to look. We kept our luggage in the bathtub to be safe. Location was the only reason we stayed, that and all other hotels were twice the price. They have a policy that you have 20 mins to decide if you want to keep the room or not, unfortunately I didn’t see that detail until the day we left. Breakfast was sad, basically bagels, toast, cereal, horrible scrambled eggs and equally bad home fries. Every table was filthy. I was told the food in the restaurant was pretty good but with the amount of cleanliness in the rest of the facility, I wasn’t going to risk it.Safety was questionable, arguing and yelling was heard from the nearby rooms.Front desk young lady was pleasant tho. Spent 2 nights which was 2 many.Do yourself a favor and pay for a nicer hotel
