Never a bad experience. They do honest business at a fair price and you walk away feeling comfortable with any work done. They’ve continued to earn my business for a few years now and I don’t see that changing.

Good, honest service. Hard to find that anymore. I have trusted Schell-Baroth with all my automobile needs since the day I first went there. Friendly folks who will take the time to talk to you and show you what's wrong and tell you the options you have. Would never go anywhere else.UPDATE: We have been taking all our vehicles here now for over 10 yrs. Would never go anyplace else!!

This shop is a hidden Erie gem. My wife and I have been using Schell-Baroth for many years and have been 100 percent satisfied every time we use them. Molly, the office manager, is the engine that keeps this place moving. She is awesome. Jim, Don, & the team in the back know how to repair vehicles -- HONESTLY and REASONABLY. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.Service: General repairs & maintenance

This review solely reflects the RECEPTIONIST! She’s rude. Her job is to answer phones and talk to paying customers, emphasize “paying”… frustrating enough having car issues but, having to deal with a rude receptionist is just ridiculous.The mechanics are kinda and knowledgeable, I give them 5 stars.

I was dropping off a package as a Lyft delivery driver and called to let them know I had arrived but that my carpal tunnel was acting up today and I didn’t want to take a chance off dropping the items and causing any damage. Instead of being understanding to a medical condition I was told by the lady that if I can’t perform the job I shouldn’t have accepted it. Mind you, it’s just delivering it and the auto parts place where I picked it up was understanding and had no problem walking the few steps to drop it in the car that I had purposely parked close to the door since I didn’t want to potentially cause any damage. So I went and physically dropped off the items at this garage. The woman picked them up and said they aren’t heavy. She is evidently not a licensed medical professional and making a judgement call on an actual medical condition is completely unprofessional. I’ve never gone here for auto repairs, but after an experience with a representative that disregards a medical condition and is insulting, I highly recommend going elsewhere so there is no concern about the interaction you will get.

The receptionist and mechanics at Schell Baroth are all very friendly and professional. They talk to you in a kind way and are quick to help out in any way they can, including looking for deals on parts or recommending other places where you can get your car serviced cheaper. 10/10 recommend for a hassle free experience.Services: Brakes
