Widget Financial on Buffalo Road in Erie should be one of your first appointments if you’re looking for a mortgage lender with a local presence. I purchased my home last year with help from Josiah at this location and had a great experience. Because of the unique circumstances of my situation, he was frequently in a position to offer guidance and experience that helped myself and the seller. He and the rest of the staff at the Buffalo Road location are patient, helpful, and are all genuinely nice people that care about helping with your financial goals, even if you’re a pretend adult like me who doesn’t know what they’re doing most of the time. My mortgage rate is reasonable, their app is easy to use, and the bank is in a convenient location.

I have been a customer of Widget and GE Federal Credit Union for 21 years. My branch Manager Josiah treated me like the valued customer that I have always felt like I was at Widget. If you are reading this, Josiah and the Buffalo Road branch of Widget is your best bet for fair loans , mortgages and lines of credit. Widget is my ONLY choice for future financial needs.

For years I have come to the Buffalo road location and I always get wonderful service especially from Cheryl. Always greets me with a friendly smile and a good morning. customer service and understanding is what keeps me coming back for the 12 plus years I have. They have a 5 day clear period on checks even from a corporation such as Honda of America. We all know most banks will hold for 48hrs but give you an amount of the check to make it worth using their bank but they do not. The cashier told me they could cash some of the check then went back and forth on it until I left with no money that I need now.

I would rate zero stars If I could. I've never had a good experience with this God awful place. The tellers have been rude to me every single time when I have been nothing but nice. They've gone far as to hang up on me after I got 5 words out if a question. They sre unfriendly, rude, and honestly you can tell they literally just want the money and nothing else. They never answer their phones either. You'd have a better chance getting a text reply from an Amish person than having a good experience at this place. I will NEVER even attempt to patronize this establishment until I get an apology for the horrendous staff.
