“I don't shop at Aldi's I was picking up groceries for a friend. Seems like a nice grocery store. Staff was friendly and helpful as I never picked up groceries after ordering them. I'll return should my friend need help again but won't make it a habit.”

“at Aldi I have come to expect to see cilantro for 89 cents but just recently I noticed they started carrying parsley. Two types of fresh herbs they sell throughout the year! Product variety is very small. They carry one or two brands, often store brands, of something. Produce is good, fresh, and cheap, and except for the stockers' tendency to throw everything (apples, potatoes, mangos, into to the bin) which I have seen done at ALL stores in the Pgh area. They carry a lot of frozen vegan items, as well as things like cauliflower dough pizza, tofu, etc. I like their flexibility to open up a new lane (listen and learn, Giant Eagle). Prices are sometimes 30-40% lower than the Yost Blvd Giant Eagle up the street. Their cart area is always all trashed out and someone needs to be go there everyday cleaning up the area.”

“We went there to replenish our spices and were pleased with our selections on the advice of a friend, and walked around the store to check things out. The store appeared well stocked and clean. We found the spice section and made quite a few purchases. We weren't there for very long, but will go back when we have more time to actually shop”

“This Aldis is one of the nicer ones in the North Hills. They are usually well stocked and since they put in self serve registers, the line are a lot shorter. They used to suffer with long lines and no help. The Aldi's has the best stocked produce and meat department around”

“Bloomfield is full of specialty shops and restaurants. Linea Verde Green Market is a perfect example. This market has specialty imported items & locally sourced produce. At first glance I was intrigued. The produce is fresh & so picturesque, reminds me of markets in Italy. Family owned, it is a warm & welcoming atmosphere. They also carry Brothmonger Soups in their refrigerated section. No doubt the best soup in Pittsburgh. This market is a cooks dream. Don't walk, run to Bloomfield for a fun day & visit Linea Verde Green Market.”

“A new favorite! The food was delicious, they're super gluten-free and vegan friendly, and they use local farm ingredients. It's rare with all my food restrictions to have so many options. There's also a fusion style to their menu that's delightful, with sophisticated compositions and plating. Staff were super conscientious and friendly. It's one of the best meals I've had in a while, but I had never heard of it! Discovered while walking down East Ohio Street. This meal just made my week. Such a great place.”

“We've been coming to Soergel Orchards for the last three years for what is becoming a new family tradition. The petting zoo is always a hit with the little kids as are sipping apple cider and picking apples. Great outing for friends that we look forward to every season!”

“My roomies and I went every year of college and we have so many good memories here. There are a lot of food options, the hard cider is great, and they have a whole store full of gluten/dairy friendly foods! Also a gift shop, corn maze, pumpkins, tons of photo opportunities, and more! Could not recommend it more- such a fun fall activity. One note: there is a very large hill that makes the apples, pumpkins, and corn maze not the most accessible.”

“Such an amazing place to take the family and children to pick pumpkins and you get a free apple when you ride the hayride. I highly recommend you to bring your family and children! The cookies i brought from the shop was delicious and they had so many thing as well, you just gotta go see for your self.”

“I love this particular, iteration of the Aldi in the area because it’s close, and has a great selection. There is another one cnearby, but it’s a much smaller store; a much smaller selection. Penn Avenue is kept well stocked and clean, and everyone there seems pretty darn friendly. Recommend.”

“This is one of my favorite farmers market in the city, and I'm not just saying that because I live in the northside lol. This market runs every Friday afternoon from 3-7 PM. They have a wide variety of vendors each week ranging from produce, to prepared foods, to candles, etc. I also love that it runs until the middle of November. The location itself is ideal because it's in Allegheny Commons Park, which is primarily tree lined, so there is lots of shade! If you're in the area, you should definitely make a stop at this farmers market to check it out!”

“Typical no-frills grocer. Good for a lot of stuff, but not a lot of selection. I wanted canned beets and none there. I expect I will not be able to do all my shopping there. Usually I start at Aldi then move on to bigger grocer.”

“It's good location pretty busy as it the best economical grocery store in the area. Though a little difficult to get to if you're using public transit from theHilltop”

“I really like that they put an Aldi's in Monroeville is convenient they were stocked with items that I use on a daily basis when some other stores do not have them the only thing I don't like is when you leave the parking lot you go straight out into traffic and sometimes it can be dangerous”

“It's so much smaller than when it was in Carrick Shopping Center. But still friendly. Good for your veggies for the week. I still wish it was in Carrick, so many, many more vendors there”

“Decent grocery prices and selection. Don't expect to get everything here. I have yet to meet a friendly staff member here and dread any time I can't use self checkout since it doesn't accept cash or gift cards. Do yourself a favor and prepare to use self checkout only”

“I love ALDIs in general.I have to give a shout out to my cashier TaQiyya. The customer in front of me was giving her a hard time about something that had no business being an issue (seriously, it’s free to be kind).TaQiyya handled it so well and the way she reacted made me smile. I hope it didn’t ruin her day (this incident was at 10am, so a relatively start to the day)Please, be kind to service workers. No matter if they are a server, cashier, or people restocking the products you buy. Have some decency.”

“I love having a weekly farmer's market in my neighborhood. Bayne Park is a great location and looks like there is still plenty of space to accommodate additional vendors. Hughes Apiary and Pond Hill Farm are my favorite vendors (amazing quality). Would love to see more produce and fruit vendors included for added variety. Excited to see our little market grow!”

“I spent $20 on enough groceries that I'm believe would have cost me around close to 6 or 50 At shop and save. I'm gonna do my best to do my shopping from now on add Aldi's for sure!!”

“Nice store. First time visit. Once I learn where everything is, it will be easier to navigate. This store must be good because I ran into a couple of friends shopping there also.”

“I always have a good experience with shopping at this Aldi. The store is actually cleaner than the Robinson store and less crowded overall! The staff is always helpful and courteous and I like the fact that they have qualified cashiers (instead of self serve) at every check out that breeze you right on through with minimal wait times and allowing you to use cash.”
