“I had a wonderful experience here! This place is great for vegetarians (EYV literally stands for “Eat Your Veggies” and the whole place is vegetarian) BUT they have an entirely separate vegan menu. Our waiter was so knowledgeable and you can tell the ingredients are fresh / seasonal. The presentation of the dishes was beautiful and the open kitchen concept lets you watch the chef as he works his magic! The only downside is that they mixed up my boyfriend’s order, but they were willing to make it right. The portion sizes are also a bit small, but I think it’s still definitely worth a visit! “Excellent value and small store makes a quick shop for essentials and a few treats a breeze. I love the Aldi Finds aisle and got lovely bath mats and an air fryer so cheap!”
“Bailees bistro food truck is there every Friday 4 to 7. Do yourself the biggest favor and go get something from her. I had a gyro w fries. I'm from Chicago, and have yet to find a gyro home worthy. THIS IS!!! Portions are huge but that doesn't matter your going to want to eat it all I promise. The fries have a seasoning on them that's almost like a season salt and totally brings them to another level. Her food reminds me of sitting in my YaYas kitchen having a gyro from the best place around the corner! Thank you for giving me a taste of home!!!!”
“The prices are your typical great Aldi prices, and unlike the previous grocer here, Aldi actually installed bike parking. All in all very happy to have them in the neighborhood.”

“It located at the southwest corner off the intersection of E Carson St and S 27th St in the Southside. There were complementary parking lots for customers up to an hour. The store was clean overall. Was able to find all food and drink items timely as expected. The restrooms required codes to unlock.”

“It's so much smaller than when it was in Carrick Shopping Center. But still friendly. Good for your veggies for the week. I still wish it was in Carrick, so many, many more vendors there”

“I shop at the ALDI in Shaler Plaza fairly regularly and have had a good experience overall. The store is typically clean, well-stocked, and organized. It can be a busy location, but the selection is usually good, and I can generally find what I need. A convenient grocery option for the Shaler area!”

Not only do they have a “decent” selection in the isles. But, as for me, it’s more about what they sell from behind the counter that counts…lol ???️
But, it is true that the 8am opening time could be a bit more on point than it has been. Especially because the cashier lives right across the street.

“Aldi grocery store offers a slightly smaller selection of foods, beverages, and household products compared to other grocery stores. However, they do have low prices, and I do enjoy many of their store-brand and name-brand products. I think that their fruits, vegetables, pantry foods, and crab cakes are a high quality. My husband said that their meats have a lower quality than what other grocery stores sell.”
