After reading the reviews- I finally got the answer that I have been asking every time I have to go to the post office, my packages aren’t being delivered because my mail carrier is not doing her job. I’ve lived in the same place for about 5 years. The mail carrier is the same lady. She sporadically delivers packages but mostly makes me go to the post office with very limited hours of operation.About 2 months ago- I was waiting on several small packages. Due to tracking I knew they were at the post office but were not delivered and I did not get a yellow package slip. I did however get a form from the post office asking how I would like my packages delivered. The form says they should deliver to my home as long as your driveway is less than a 1/2 mile and there is room to turn around. Mine fits the criteria. I completed the form. A few days later all of my small packages were jammed in my mail box. So why weren’t they just delivered when the PO received them? Felt like my stuff was held on purpose.I thought it was personal but now I know it is just incompetence. I understand delivering mail every day can be hard, but if that is the job you chose you should be expected to do it. Everyone has a different work ethic but if there are multiple reports of multiple drivers not doing their job, this is a management issue. People are not being held accountable.Unfortunately it seems we are at the mercy of our zip code and Evans City Post Office. At least I know I’m not alone.Dear USPS, Please provide continued training for your managers and employees that may have forgotten their responsibility to deliver the mail.Dear Evans City Post office, please do not hold this comment against me. Please accept it as constructive criticism and take this opportunity to do better, not just for me but everyone who has mail coming through your office.Dear fellow EC resident- Luckily we can track all of our packages but did you know you can get daily emails from USPS with pictures of the mail you should receive? I highly recommend this if you have been having mail delivery issues.

They pick and chose when they are going to deliver your mail, some days you get your mail delivered other days you don’t. Don’t ever plan on having a reliable carrier because half the time they don’t show up. The carriers are so rude and refuse to deliver anything, they give you a slip and expect you to drive to the post office but have the worst hours. It’s no wonder the post office is failing.

I bought a pair of prescription eyeglasses and the email from the post office said they were delivered on 1/13/22. They never made it here. No one knows where they are. Now I have to get my money back from the company I ordered them from. The mail delivery person said he/she delivered the package across the street.....which didn't happen. Zero stars.

I am so frustrated with this post office. I get informed delivery, so they send me a picture of the mail im supposed to get for the day. One day they send me I am supposed to get 2 very important letters from unemployment. They do not show up so i click the spot that says did not receive this mail today. I hear nothing from them so two days later I submit a missing mail complaint. Still hear nothing from them. So about 2 days later we call and they say they are going to look into it and we would hear something in 2 or 3 days. 3 days have heard nothing so I call and they say nothing they can do. I have to call unemployment. So you clearly had the mail in your hand at some point to put a picture of it on informed delivery and then lost it. No explanation, no offer to help, nothing just you will have to get a hold of the sender. Not a good feeling to have no choice but to trust my important mail in your hands.

There are 2 super nice employees here. Always friendly. The others are just ok I guess. But my problem is with their hours. So they are open until 5pm and just now I went to drop a package off. It was 4:51pm and the doors were locked. There was a lady behind the counter and she saw me and just shrugged. This is the second time this has happened. If you say you are open until 5 dont lock your doors til 5. Pretty simple

Our carrier routinely--on route 528 north--delivers mail that is not ours and we are constantly missing mail. We talk to our neighbors and it is the same experience for them. As a neighborhood, we have made multiple complaints officially without any change. Currently I have a photo record of every piece that is not mine in order to show how poor the service is...I am up to almost ten items in six months. We pay for magazine subscription and miss issues, Netflix sends two videos at once and one arrives or never arrived, and I have moved all possible billing on-line simply because I don't trust the local post office to get them to me in a timely manner. There is no alternative for this service and it is like being trapped and held hostage to all written communication.

The automatic voice answering system leaves much to be desired. Simply wanted to speak with someone behind the desk about a simple matter. Wouldnt have taken but 3 minutes to ask. Instead I listen to a 5 minute voice recording about how we appreciate your time and wait for a survey at the end of your call. After listening to about 15 other options that had nothing to do with why I was calling, I wasn't able to speak with anyone. Why I couldn't talk to someone directly at my local post office is baffling to me. If you do "appreciate our time" how about a 0 option to speak with a real person. I get there is a busy schedule and the mail never stops, but dang comeon guys/gals. Living in town I dont mind walking in but when I cant it would have been nice to call. It's not the location in Evanscity that is lacking it's the entire phone operating system.

The worst experience today needing my packages picked up. The mail carrier called her manager im guessing and was complaining really loud being very rude, disrespectful, and using vulgar language around me and my brother which is very unacceptable. I didn't expect such poor service from usps. And not only this but many occurrences in which we receive someone elses mail and/or don't receive ours until a later date. And if you order specific items from Amazon our mail carrier has refused to deliver because of its size or weight.
