After Mr. Gitkos retired I didn’t think I’d find anyone else who was good as he was, but then I found Stackhouse. As long as they’re in the auto repair business, I will remain a royal customer! He has always treated me with nothing but respect and they take care of any problems I have with my car. Sean and his son keep on giving that exceptional customer service!

I'm not happy to have to write this review, having been a loyal customer of Stackhouse for many years.The last time I took my car in, I asked for an alignment since my car was shaking at higher speeds. Sean called and said it needed a new control arm (which he had replaced last year). I said ok to the work.Later Sean called and told me it was done but that didn't fix the problem and all 4 of my rims were bent.That did not sound right to me. I asked for my car back and he said he just had to do an alignment. I had an appointment that evening and I let Sean know I would need my car back by 5. Around 4, I called to check in. Sean said he'd call me right back. 40 minutes went by and I hadn't heard from him so I called again and said I really needed my car back for the appointment. He said he'd call me in a few minutes. My daughter ended up giving me a ride to the appointment.The shop closed for the night, so I didn't get my car back until the following day. Three days it was there. When I spoke to Sean, he told me he couldn't get the tires to balance because the rims were bent so he took it to another shop to have it done. "And I didn't even charge you for that. I'm trying to help you," he said. Like he was doing me a favor by not charging me for a service he had to outsource.When I finally got my car back, I noticed my gas tank was on E and my car had been driven about 50 miles which I thought was unnecessary.I spoke to a few other mechanics and they explained how unlikely it is to bend all 4 rims. I took it to a new mechanic and was told none of the rims are bent, and the problem is the axle. He also mentioned I would need new tires because the last ones that were put on (by Sean) were very low quality. Sean mentioned nothing about the axle. If I would have agreed and had him replace the rims, still it wouldn't be fixed because the axle needed replaced.All in all a very bad experience and a waste of money. Luckily, I trusted my intuition and didn't get scammed for the rims. Be wary, especially if you're a woman. Sean sees you coming. ?

I own a Suzuki Equator pickup that was not able to be repaired by a local, national chain. Sean was able to obtain the part and fix a wiring problem with the ABS system. Great job. They are also working on getting another part !

Christopher, Sean and Sean Patrick are the real deal. I called 3 shops in Dallas for electrical issues all of them turned me away. This shop has real mechanics, they took me right in and fixed them and recharged my AC. You guys are awesome. Thanks guys!
