Over priced. Food was not worth the price. Gave us a happy hour menu that was only honored at the bar and we were at a table... not sure why. Won't be back.

Meh at best. Nice location, great waitress, good drinks. The food was not good. The queso had no flavor, chicken meat for the fajitas was not prepared the way fajita meat should be, and they subbed pork belly for the slow roasted pork in the tamales. I ordered the tamales based on what someone else's looked like when we walked in and I was very disappointed. They must have run out and tried to switch it up but what I was served was not what was advertised on the menu. We did let the waitress and the manager know and it was taken off the bill. Would I give them a second chance? Probably not. I get great Mexican food where I live in Florida. Lesson learned: if something is amazing where you live don't try to find it when you travel.

Good food. They have a lot of options for vegetarians. They had very unique options for veg taco. The only disappointment is that I couldn’t pick and choose different combinations of taco. I had to get a whole dish with two same tacos. They had very nice drink options. The ambiance is great and the decor keeps the place lively. Would come back here to have more.

My wife was visiting a friend in the area and decided to pick up two quesadillas for our light dinner. That was a giant mistake. My understanding is that queso means cheese. In this instance, the cheese component was all but forgotten. I really could not believe that this place can charge $11 for a quesadilla that is literally not as good as the one that Taco Bell can serve up for less than $5. Fortunately, we do not live close by, so we will not be tempted to ever visit the establishment again. Frankly pathetic.

Very good place for what I felt was pretty authentic Mexican food. Good place to check out. Love the atmosphere.

The only reason I am giving two stars is because I feel bad for the poor employees working under the embarrassing management there. The "manager" would seat constantly while his staff was running around with minimal help. He also didn't add multiple parties to the wait even though he said he did (including mine). The server was doing the best she could to keep up with his horrible mismanagement of a busy Thursday evening. You need to find quality leaders, rather than someone who sacrifices quality over quantity

Mid Gringo food. If you consider Tex-Mex (and a bland version of that) to be Mexican food, then you will love this place. I don't want to use the word appropriation, but if the shoe fits.

A Wellington Square restaurant attempting to pass itself off as authentic Mexican, but couldn't quite get there. First, our server was stellar. She could not have been more friendly or efficient, so top marks there. Second, our request for chips and salsa to get us started was not an automatic as just about every other Mexican restaurant provides - they charge for this. Finally, the entrees were a little bland. Not bad, but not that great either. I ordered the pork belly quesadilla, it arrived in a bed of grease (obviously from the cooked pork belly, but couldn't some of this be wiped up before hitting our table?). Again, the taste was just OK, and our dining partners pretty much said the same thing about their selections. Rice and beans were an a la carte item, increasing the average LUNCHTIME entree to about $17-$20. Ice tea was $4, diet coke $3.50 (really?). Total check for 4 about $90 before gratuity. Overall, nothing terrible to report, but this is a one-and-done establishment, we will not return.

this place is more of a American mexican food place. the portion size is very small and not worth the price. the nachos were big but the only good thing about the nachos were the tortilla chips itself. the rice was pretty good. i got a strawberry lemonade and it was awful. idk how you can mess up on a lemonade lmao but they sure did. there was no strawberry taste and it was jus very bitter. overall i didn’t enjoy the food or the money i had paid for the food. if you’re looking for an authentic mexican restaurant do not go here.

We just walked out after waiting for 20 minutes with hungry children and only having received water. No one came back to take our order. It was not even busy.

We like Al Pastor because they offer arguably the best happy hour priced margaritas in the Eagleview Area. We got a pizza to go that was pretty good (maybe a tad pricey for the quality)
