“Awesome service. I took my phone in to get a new screen protector and they helped me out right away and had me out of the store in 5 minutes. They were very polite and made it as cheap as possible for me.”

“Our SONY Smart TV sits in a bay window, and it got soaked when a storm came up suddenly and we didn’t get the windows closed in time. After pouring some water out of it (!) and using a dehumidifier to help dry it out, it still wouldn’t turn on so we called Ace Electronics to see if there was a chance of fixing it. We had gotten the TV used from them a number of years ago. It wasn’t easy, and it took a few tries, but Rich got it working again with considerable effort, determination, and a new mother board. Seems to be working fine now. As Churchill said, “never give up!””

“Caleb Beard: Best Buy Downingtown, PA

I was living in a world of strange, erratic, but sharp, sounds like a trash-compactor from my new refrigerator for about four months which were now changing to sounds more like a straining engine compressor. My refrigerator should have been running silently, like normal refrigerators. Of course my warranty had just recently expired, so I went to my local Best Buy to see what could be done? (If anything)

The agent with the walkie phone in front of the store called for Caleb Beard and Caleb came running (well more literally jogging) and his authentic Customer Care came with a smile! When Caleb saw that my knees were not dealing well with standing, without hesitation, he jogged again. This time to find a chair for me to sit down in! And we hadn’t even gotten into the problem yet!

After Caleb took the time to understand my situation and then to confirm that I was no longer under warranty protection, he did multiple internet searches to try to simplify my next steps for me (and thereby reduce any possible expense). He searched for clues in the comments by other consumers with similar problems on my Refrigerator he searched for clues in the manufacturer’s FAQs about similar bugs, and he even searched reviews of local repair firms for ratings on quality and reliability! This all simply amazed me! It would have been so easy for Caleb to quickly dismiss me with “Your warranty is expired, sorry, Buy bye”.

But, no!, Caleb cared! He had already done the opposite. Based on all above, Caleb suggested that I be sure the ice-maker machine was turned off (it was never supposed to have been hooked up to water supply or active at all beginning at installation). Caleb felt (without even seeing my unit) that it was possible that the icemaker had been inadvertently hooked up and was trying to make ice without water.

Caleb found a diagram to show me where the on/off switch was inside my freezer on his screen right there, instore. He emphasized that I do this FIRST BEFORE contacting a repair firm and or spending any money.

Caleb was quite caring, from beginning to end of the experience, and without even seeing my unit solved my problem without costing me a penny! I went home and flipped the ice-making machine off and have not had a single waring sound or any other problem new or old since.

If you need customer care at Best Buy in Downingtown, search out Caleb Beard. You’ll be very glad you did!”
