It was so ridiculous going all the way to Floris to make an appointment with technician Diana. The owner of the place made the appointment for me, only for them to not see me when I arrived because they gave priority to someone else who had supposedly scheduled an appointment days earlier for the same time slot as me. It was so annoying. They made me go and make an appointment, only to come back and not be seen. It's incredibly disrespectful. That place isn't worth it.

I tried this nail salon again after a bad gel manicure, it has not improved. I went in for a pedicure with my mom and neither of us were happy with the service. It was rushed, no soaking time, barely any work on heels, nails aren't filed evenly, not polished evenly. I only went here because they line the tubs with plastic for cleanliness, but the actual pedicure was bad. And they raised the price of basic to $38.

I'm a regular here and usually happy with the manicures, but was disappointed with the quality today. For a regular manicure (without nail color), Maria quickly and roughly cut/filed my nails and said I was good to go. The operators usually file them to a shape of my liking (e.g., square or round), allow the nails to soak to then trim dead/broken skin along the cuticles, and then treat it with cuticle oil/cream followed by a hot towel rest+massage. None of this was done and I was finished in 4-5 minutes. I requested for a massage which she did for a minute or 2, and I was in and out in 6-7 minutes (including time to get seated and make my payment). It was a waste of money and more importantly, there was no proper nail/hand care.
I called the front desk later on to share this feedback, and appreciate the lady who indicated that they will make sure to do a better job next time.
*Update: I went in today and requested for Jack, who did a meticulous job as usual (manicure). I had a good experience and it was likely that the technician I had the last time was a one-off experience. The lady at the front desk was kind and gave me a voucher for a regular manicure to use for my next visit. I definitely appreciate the fact that they took my feedback into consideration. Thank you to the team at Floris for a positive experience.

I had the worst experience with the nail technician, Stephanie. I’ll go back, but I won’t be requesting her again. She finished my manicure in just 10 minutes. She didn’t even remove the dead skin properly or apply the nail color neatly. It felt like she was in a rush to take the next customer. Recently, the prices have increased, so I would at least expect proper service for the amount I paid.

The first pedicure I had here resulted in a bleeding cut toe and an abraded heel that was so sore I could not wear my shoes for 2 days. Stupidly I returned to try another technician and this time went home with an ingrown toenail. They are overly rough and don't even look up if you yelp or are bleeding. Have fun!

Judy was so gentle and kind. I walked in on a Saturday around 10:30am, and they were able to get me started for a pedicure with in a few minutes!

they filed off layers of my natural nail with an electric drill to the point where it was bleeding underneath and it is painful to the touch. they additionally hacked off chunks of my nails then had to cut them to nubs

I wish I can say I had a lovely experience but I did not. When presenting Ashely with my desired shape, and design instead of saying she could not do it (pink base with a little heart in the middle) she told me it would be “too expensive” only to still charge me for a design in the end. I asked for a short coffin and what I left with was ultra thick, square nails. And after being charged an additional $10 for shaping I should have gotten the shape that I requested. I calmly communicated my lack of satisfaction with grace however, that was met with belittling condescension and eye rolls. When it was time to correct my nails she was rude and was not willing to correct it without protest. I’m thankful that Moriah came and advocated for me otherwise I would be stuck with ugly chunky nails for Valentine’s Day. I won’t be back for another service, I understand that people have off days but if I’m paying $100 plus tip for a service, I should be greeted and treated kindly. It was heart breaking to come in for self care and be treated redly, but to see other women coming in and having their coats removed with a smile and warm greeting really made me sad.

Buyer Beware - THE NAIL TECHNICIANS AT THIS SALON DO NOT KNOW HOW TO CUT YOUR TOENAILS! I had injured my hip and was having difficulty reaching my toenails to cut them so I came here 3 times over a 6-month period to get pedicures and have my toenails trimmed. Well the first 2 visits were fine, but after the 3rd one, I developed ingrown toes nails in the large toes of both of my feet. It first started when I noticed pain at the base of my big toe nails, along with swelling. I brought this to the attention of my doctor who I happened to have a visit with for another issue, and she prescribed an oral antibiotic. After about a week, the issue did not improve, so I went to a podiatrist who diagnosed that I had ingrown toenails because THE TOENAILS WERE CUT TOO SHORT. Now during that pedicure, I just told the technician to cut my toenails, assuming that she knew how to do that. The podiatrist had to perform partial nail removals on both toe nails, and then the next day - even though I had exercised utmost care - 1 of them became infected! Redness, swelling, pain - and fear. You have to be very careful with toe infections since they can lead to Gangrene and Amputation. All because of nails being cut too short during a pedicure. I won't be returning to this salon.
