“This is the only gym I have ever felt like I wasn’t “alone.” Many other gyms I’ve walked into were intimidating and awkward, not knowing where to begin. That doesn’t happen when you are at Erie Fitness Academy! I love walking in at any given time and class. They reach out to make sure you are ok and ask how it’s going for you. Great touch! There you are never alone!”

“Absolutely an amazing place! I've been in and out of different gyms for the last decade and nothing comes close to the upbeat and great workout you get with Matt and Anthony (they are rockstars). I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a good workout & good vibes!”

“The first thing I look for in a gym or dojo is if the people are approachable, helpful and engaging. If the folks running the place are really welcoming, then I'm going to join. Added bonus would be the complete gym equipment, free gloves, and discounted prices. LRB met all of that. I've been out of shape for a year, then I had a stillborn baby, and eventually spiraled into depression. Boxing saved me, I poured out my grief and anger into the bag. I never knew how out of shape I was, even though I did kickboxing for a year, and Muay Thai for almost 2 years. Thank you LRB and Keith!”

“Great place to train and get better at Bjj. Mostly males, mostly just has Matt's. But the instructors are really good and Chris was very welcoming to new comers.”

“You take your kid here early for them to learn to love the game but also how to learn the game. Coach Jason and Jamie are amazing. It’s a small space but that is what helps them learn to think fast. It builds instinct to rely on.”

“I was in Erie for about 2 weeks, and I wanted a gym where I could continue with my powerlifting training. This gym had everything I needed, and I loved the atmosphere. Everyone was so kind, and Joe was so nice every time I spoke with him. I definitely recommend Joe's if you're looking for an old school styled gym that has everything you need.I will for sure use Joe's every time I'm in Erie. Thank you Joe, for letting me use your gym ?”

“Amazing gym in all aspects except for limited hours on Saturdays and closed Sundays. I would easily give it 5 stars if hours were more convenient for people who work later during the week or anyone who wants to workout on a weekend.”

“So far, this place is great! I have seen many bad reviews on here and honestly I don't understand why this gym would receive anything less than 5 stars. It isn't the biggest gym but the machines are all modern and seem to be well maintained. I have yet to find a single "broken" machine, which other reviewers said was common place. There is something for everyone! Treadmills, bikes, ellipticals, free weights, and a machine for any muscle you wish to train. The owner seems like a good dude, always smiling and interacting with customers. Oh and an added bonus, they offer a tanning booth as well! I will definitely be a long term customer.”

“I took a tour of the gym in February as I had been currently going to a chain I just wasn’t excited about anymore. From the moment I walked in, everyone was so nice and accommodating. I immediately received a tour and upon signing up, I got two months for just $20 and a free training session. I hadn’t intended on doing any training, but I had liked the trainer and thought it could be really good for me. Fast forward to now, just a little over 6 months later, and I absolutely love it here! I’m still going training and look forward to it every week. Everyone here is so nice and motivating. They have a wide variety of equipment, a track, classes, pool, and sauna. You won’t find a better facility with better people.”

“Enjoy the family atmosphere and the training is the best. At 70 I started to learn boxing. I really enjoy it, enough to do the 21 day challenge at LRB.... Matt, Reggie, and all the staff are right there to help you with any challenges that you may face. They have the plan for you to reach the goals you want to achieve... Dennis Battersby”
