This Dollar General is convenient. The staff in the store is friendly. The ailes were easy to navigate. However, there was an item that I was charged for and did not purchase. I called the store. I gave the info to the manager that was on the receipt. She said she was sorry. But she could not help. I wondered why my purchase was higher than expected.

It should have been a quick trip. I grabbed my things and stood in land. Or at least I tried. I got in line behind 3 older women with their carts brimming with toys and other products. There was only one person working behind the counter. After a few minutes another person stepped behind the counter and called me over.
I go over there and get my stuff ready at the counter and the woman says the ATM needs to restart first. So she does that. Then again. And again. And again. At this point its been 5 minutes of trying to get this ATM started and the main line has gained a few new occupants. I go to the back of the line and wait another couple minutes to get a second chance at checking out.
This time I successfully managed to actually scan things and get to the next step of putting my card in the machine. Yay. I follow the on screen prompts. Put card in, beep, take card out. End of instructions. The cashier then bitterly asks me if I meant to hit no on the transaction and I had to explain to her several times that I followed the prompts and wasn't given any option to even hit anything else. She eventually realizes she screwed up the prompts on her end of the machine I'm sure she's been using for years.
All in all what should have been a 5 minute trip took a very frustrating 15. I suppose you don't have to try very hard with a captive audience.

Well stocked, employees were very nice and more laid back then the other stores I've been to.

I love dollar general, but I do have my favorite ones and my not so favorite ones. They have a great choice in merchandise.

Like the store for quick stops ,but usually very cluttered ,and my heart goes out to the sales associates ,as I worked in retail for 18 yrs plus,and they are terribly under staffed...

This was another good Dollar General it was nice and clean if you ask them they will help you out with anything you needed help with I will go back if I get another chance keep up the good work Dollar General let's go
