What a gem! Our family had a fantastic getaway for Spring Break with school out this past March. Our kids, ages 2 and 5, had an absolute blast -- They loved the heated pool, seeing the animals, the pancakes! The grown ups felt pampered to the max. The rooms, the service, the activities were all fantastic. We stayed at the newly reimagined (renovated) Lodge. The suite was spacious and luxurious. We found the resort very approachable and family-friendly (lots of young families when we visited) and the personnel, top notch. We couldn't have been happier with our visit and are already planning our next visit -- we heard Christmas time was especially magical.Would recommend giving the team a call in advance to check which activities are available as not all may be open from their website. The reservation agents were so very helpful, answering questions and helping us plan our itinerary, even before our trip began. Also of note, the resort is huge and the buildings/activities are more spread out than I had initially expected from the map. There's a complimentary shuttle that can take you from location to location -- we weren't up for the trek with our young kids (the wait was never more than 5 minutes).A great place to indulge and enjoy an excellent getaway for the whole family!

This place is very nice. However, all the nickel and dimeing is disappointing for a place as expensive as this. It is disappointing that there is even an upcharge for kids movies on the TV.

Had a wonderful weekend. Top notch! Thoroughly enjoyed Liam and Laine when having cocktails. They are absolute gems. There seems to be some concern for sustainability, but also a TON of waste, disappointing. It was certainly worth the trip, will go back again.

**edit- shortly after posting this review on their Facebook page I was blocked. My original post is a copy paste of that review. Seems the only thing they care very much about is their online presence so they can get your money and run.I booked my honeymoon at nemacolin. less than 24 hours before my check in they canceled my reservations and my only option was to book and suite/ home for $3,000 more for our 5 day stay. they didn't offer to comp us or re-book our stay with them. since booking I've been seeing advertisements on Facebook for them and yesterday decided I would leave a comment talking about this experience to see if they would make it right someway or another. they responded to the comments quickly and asked for me to DM them my email to resolve the issue. this brings us to today, where I have not received any response from them and the ad popped into my feed again. then I see they deleted my comment and their response from the post. this company is extremely unprofessional. I would not recommend to anyone.

Stay away from the townhomes. The experience was shockingly terrible. They are worn out and poorly maintained. It seems the management has given up on them. We have stayed in the homes a few times before and always had minor issues but this time problems were so overwhelming that we decided to check out after only one night. Here is what $600 a night got us: missing utensils, wine glasses, spatulas and dining chair (!) in the kitchen. Peeling wallpaper. Stained carpets. Flickering lights seemingly due to faulty dimmer installation. Running and leaking toilet in the master bedroom… I could go on, but you get the picture. To be fair, the chair and wine glasses were delivered shortly after we reported them, but by the time we discovered the toilet issue we were done.We ended up canceling our spa and dinner reservations and heading out the next day despite it being a birthday celebration trip.We stayed in 833.

Rooms: The rooms are fabulously appointed and high tech.Food & drinks: The food and drink is delicious and varied.Noteworthy details: The butler service is very accommodating and patient. Their knowledge of the high tech is expert.

Such a hidden gem. 2 hours from the Philly Airport but a world away. So many options to choose from. They love decorating and immersing their guests into the Holidays.

Love Fawn & Fable. The food has been fantastic. Keep going back!! The Circle Bar bartenders are supreme. The employees throughout the resort are the best. We're totally spoiled and can't find any place with service that compares.

For a city girl, this was a wonderful stretch! Location wise. I find it very, very far from civilization, which may be just what you are looking for? This is my second visit. There are at least two hotel-spa-resort options. The first stay was at the Chateau. Very old world and comfy. This time, we had a mother/daughter spa weekend at Falling Rock. A cheeky homage to Fallingwater, mostly because of its mountainous landscape and Mission era decor, which as decor aficionados we found grand, yet inconsistent. Take the giant heart w/ snowflakes that met us at the door during January. Okaaaaaay. And some of the art was oddly placed or maximalist for no reason. I do however applaud the mixed media pieces in rhe bedrooms. (All art is for sale) Still the charm of the place and the top drawer service made it worth the winter wonderland drive. Spa services? Nice! Food—good enough. Turndown service—Excellent. Free night time cookies, shoe shines, clothing steamed, bath (milk w/ rose petals) and pillow options and let’s not forget the butler. Ask for a toothbrush even if you don’t need one. It’s free and comes in a gift box. Chocolate truffles and refrigerated beverages are also complimentary. Ahhhhh. You will be treated like a princess if not a queen. Just remember though, if you are a Starbucks junkie it’s a long, long way to get there.

Everything was beyond expectations. My only critique is that the pool area needs a large clock that is visible from the pool!

Spectacular in every way. The experience made me really understand what a five-star resort should or could be. It was every bit worth the price. Too many wonderful aspects to offer more detail here, but we will be back for sure.

Nemacolin has held a special place in my heart since 1998 when my boyfriend-now-husband invited me to join his family there. Now we take our own kids there! This was a solo spa trip for me, and I got to stay in the newly renovated Lodge. The room was SPECTACULAR! Food and drinks at the bar were yummy, and there was live music. Can’t wait to return!
