I always go to the dollar general store, I live close to it in Fayetteville, PA. The workers need a little improvement on greeting customers in the store & if there putting merchandise out on the shelf it seems like you have to yell to get checked out.

I went back and forth about whether I even wanted to write a review and how negative I wanted to be versus suggesting of improvement. I will suffice it to say this: go in for yourself and pick up on the vibes and language used. Come to your own conclusion. If dollar general wants to know more, corporate can contact me so I’m not “inaccurately” depicting the store. I personally like kindness. It’s nice to be able to walk in the store, but kindness goes a longer way for me than anything else-we’ve excused a lot for years because it’s “just the dollar store”- they are a dime a dozen and I’ll give someone else our business for last minute milk and bread. I know customers can be horrible but time and again, after dozens of visits, all I can say is “decency.” I don’t like to hear people talked about by employees whether they are customers or co-workers. I’ve started using the one on black gap and Cashtown, I suggest others do the same - vote with your wallet and support business where it deserves

The Old lady with all white hair is very rude and she doesn’t even care bout customers coming back that’s what i heard from them talking bout the other customer before i got her attention to help me and then guess what she answered me i can’t help you with anything , she looked like so annoyed bcos i interrupted them that’s why i told all my friends and my followers on fb that never go to this store and don’t do their 5 off 25 here bcos of her and the bad system too

There's a older lady with white hair who works here and she is the reason i refuse to go here. She is absolutely awful. She's extremely rude to you, if you ask her questions it's usually a short response or not a response at all. I would highly recommend to just go to a different store to avoid the interaction with her.

My favorite place to work and shop at. I am respected and treated well. I do no lt appreciate corporate's micromanaging ? but lets be honest, can you name one retail chain that doesnt have this issue? Shop here on a weekend evening and youll see me :)
