“This is the best kept Carrick secret. If you're with Spartan or any other big guys, you need to switch to this little pharmacy asap. You will be amazed what a truly personal and caring pharmacy service can (and should) be. I didn't know until I switched from Spartan and can only regret I haven't done it sooner. A+ on all points - prices, autorefills, delivery. And communication, that's a big one - when you call or text, you get a real person to talk to, not some AI assistant (Spartan, I'm talking to you). “This is the absolute best pharmacy ever!!! When the local big box pharmacy closed, we were really sad & never thought we would find a good, independent pharmacy. The Steel Town Pharmacy family goes above and beyond for their customers, offering competitive prices, compounded formulas that aren't offered at many other pharmacies (hello Pittsburgh baby Butt Paste!!), local delivery, and insurance collaboration. You can really feel how passionate they are about this work, and how knowledgeable they all are. Thank you for opening our eyes to giving small/ independent stores a chance!”

“I recently switched to the Giant Eagle pharmacy. It seems like no matter how long I give them they never have my prescriptions ready so I shop for my groceries while I wait for my prescriptions to be filled. The grocery store is a bit more pricey than other local grocery stores but the do tend to have some pretty great sales in their fliers. For instance, this past week they had buy 2 boxes of cereal get 3 free. That's almost $15 off. They also have a pretty nice fresh meat counter. Just a heads up, if you are going to use the deli, they tend to slice the cheese on the thick side. Just keep that in mind if you like your slices thin.”
“They are much better than dealing with the big chain stores. They fill your scripts quickly and if they dont have it they get it typically the next day. The price on all of their health and wellness items is very fair. It's night and day compared to CVS or Rite Aid when it existed. They dont stock a lot of any one item, but can get it for you quickly and at a good price. Great pharmacy .”
“Awesome selection and ultra convenient location! This market has a lot to offer from pharmacy to bakery and even brews. Kevin in bakery was very polite and very helpful in finding specialty muffins in the the back stockroom that weren’t put out yet! Highly recommended!!”

“I made an appt online and it was actually very easy. I was able to upload my insurance card prior to the visit and was happy to see that it was in network. There was no one in the wait room when I arrived so I didn't wait long at all. I was greeted by the nurse practitioner, Kate. She was so friendly, attentive, and caring while listening to my concern. She made sure my needs were met and her care was outstanding. I am very pleased with the treatment and I got exactly what I needed out of this visit. Thank you, Kate.”

“The Bethel Park store is a smaller Giant Eagle. Even though it's a smaller store, they have everything I need. The store is well stocked. They are rarely out of a product I needed. The produce section is small but there isn't much that can be done with the store size. Employees are friendly. They have the self scanners which I've been using for years. The building is attached to a smaller sized Walmart. This makes shopping a one stop event.”
“Won't shop at another Giant Eagle. Not as many obese people. Doesn't look like the one in washington where everyone is on methadone. Carts are nicer, and didn't see any blacks. Awesome store.”

“The pharmacy staff here are pretty awesome. They are always so helpful and patient even when I’m sure they’re incredibly busy. All of the techs and pharmacists are quite knowledgeable and have helped me navigate insurance and other issues with ease. My prescriptions are always filled quickly and if I need something in a shorter timeframe they always do their best to accommodate. I highly recommend signing up to get text messages when your scripts are ready for pick up. It really makes the whole process quick and easy. It’s really nice to have such a good pharmacy in our tiny town!”
