Angriest yoga teacher I've ever had the misfortune to be in the class of. No clue why.

I'm so glad to be back after 5 months!! With all that Co-Vid weight the elliptical kicked my butt today but I'm going back for more! They did an excellent job with cleanliness and keeping everything 6 feet apart! Everyone gets their own clean up bottle and there is plenty of hand sanitizer! Check in process was smooth and effortless! Great job everyone at the Tri- Valley Y!

The leap and learn center is completely disgusting. The teachers are great! The director Nyree is the most insensitive person I've met. She is not organized at all and does not help parents when asked. She has pushed many great employees out because of her insensitivity. The food is beyond gross. The kids don't even eat. They go home starving. When Nyree is in the one year old room she doesn't even feed them breakfast. There is mold on the food and it is left out for hours and put back into the fridge to be used again (milk, yogurt, fruit) Some teachers have to make sure they throw out things before it gets put back. There has been plastic and paper in the food. There are no working cleaning supplies either. It's a disgrace to the YMCA. The management is horrible. Most of the time they run out of basic supplies such as plates, paper towels, cups, toilet paper, and the list goes on before it is even ordered. Parents have brought in paper towels just so we could clean the room. DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE.

Review to warn other parents of the horrible condition of childcare. We entrusted our son into the care of the ymca, only to find out that a negligent teacher was taking them outside to "work on her car", when she wasn't too wrapped up in her phone playing candy crush. As it turns out, our child was neglected while in their care for an entire year, and rather than the "staff" taking ownership and getting to the bottom of the matter, they chose to ignore me. When they did finally respond (half-assed) it was to deny the entire situation. Placing your child in this "loving environment" is a joke and something I wish we never did. Wanting reimbursement for the severe negligence suffered at their hands was a joke. I am still waiting for them to email me back (I imagine I'll be waiting forever) You would be better off having your child stay alone, as you certainly do not get the care you're promised.
