I hadn’t used pick up service in a long time and called to get an update on pick up procedures for my husband (to make as painless as possible) and the woman who answered could not answer this very simple question on how to pick up online orders. I was left on hold for over a half hour before I hung up. There seems to be a lot of idle standing around by staff at the front of the store. This while rows of check out lanes remain unattended and lines for self checkout with one lane open.

Some of the great grandchildren being 117/218 Also will no longer pationize any weis list includes Fogelsville, pennsburg, quakertown, landsdale, Whitehall, bath, Bethlehem, Easton, Jackson fl, Pensacola, my cousin in PR will not there if there is one or back home. And so on, and we are all going to do our part to see the down fall of WEIS MARKETS, as your points are a rip off, your return policy is and has been a scam, your products suck for quantity of purchase compared. GIANT WILL NOW NOT ONLY BE OUR STORE FOR THE THINGA WE WOULD REGULARY BY AT WEIS BUT WILL NOW ALSO BE ADVERTISED FOR THERE AMERICAN CIVIL RIGHT ENFORCEMENT AND HONORABLE RETURN POLICY.
Change my mind

Employees walking around eating donuts instead of working and wearing a mask. They also don't enforce customers to wear a mask.

Ive been going to this weis ever since i moved in the area, so almost 10 years. And theres never been a problem with anything until the pandemic. Theyre over slicing a lot of lunch meats, and every time i go and look at the stock pile of lunch meats they have sitting out, the packages are covered in juice, the lunch meat looks gross and old. I had picked up laughing cow spreadable cheese, and was eating it after i had finished i went to throw it out, and saw that it was expired 3 weeks before the day i ate it, but it was 3 days after i had picked it up from the store. A couple weeks later i went, not thinking, picked up more of the spreadable cheese, before purchasing my boyfriend looked at the date, and it was again about 3 weeks passed the expire date. And yesterday we also went shopping, and he was looking at a package of soup in the aisle with the asian foods, and the package said expires march 5th!!!!!! MARCH. FIFTH!!!!!. It is MAY 19th!!!!!!!!! It is not our jobs to make sure youre doing your jobs right! Especially now that foods flying off the shelves, you shouldnt have expired food in your stores!!! And if so have someone go around and check! Its your jobs!!!! Yall could make someone seriously sick!!!

This store seems to be one of few stores that's taking the Pandemic seriously. Employees here are always friendly and helpful. Social distancing is not an issue at this store. Kudos to the staff and customers!

I was a frequent Giant shopper prior to relocating. I don't hate this store however I find the layout of it a little bizarre, I can't seem to ever find what I'm looking for, I also feel that their prices are out of line with some other grocery stores. Staff is really friendly which is their only saving grace!

Prices way higher than Wegmans unless it's on sale. Very poor organic produce selection and overpriced organic foods section. Whole Foods pricing on the organic items I buy are cheaper. I use Apple Pay all the time when shopping and this store can't seem to get their act together when it comes to technology. Apple Pay rarely works at the registers. The self-checkout machines are so overly sensitive when moving items scanned that an attendant has to continually come over and swipe their card to reset it. If you try to use Apple Pay at the self checkout and it isn't working, you then have to move all your purchases to the customer service service counter and wait in line there bc it locks the entire self-checkout register up. Very inconvenient and not customer friendly.

I enjoy this new Weiss, so Im going to be a bit tough on it. First off, it seems a bit understaffed, even with self scanning ( there are at least 4 lanes). The produce is in good condition, with soft / spoiled vegetables and fruits cleared away quickly. The berries are prone to disappoint, as they are overpriced and left to inevitable mark-down as they begin to deteriorate. Blueberries and strawberries in particular this Summer were often moldy one layer down. There are a few exotic fruits (not many look appetizing, may be sitting a bit long). As I buy seafood and not meat, I can tell you the fish and canned crab are very expensive, even compared to Wegmans. I usually opt for frozen salmon, and shrimp, sometimes fresh clams. Clams are reliably tender with a high *live rate*. I am very picky about fresh seafood, and seldom see fish that Id deem worthy of the price per pound, here. The seafood counter sells steamed blue crabs but the clerk could not tell me when those were cooked- vital safety information, if you know anything about shellfish. I have purchased tinned oysters there, and checked the case thermometer and date on the tin (they were fine). Ice cream shelves are often coated in frost- a sign the doors are not shutting correctly. The bread aisle is in an odd place in a corner of the store, far from the bakery. These are some of my observations. I shop here 100% of the time, but the seafood quality is a nuisance. Good parking, well lit at night. 24 hour store, that we waited 20 years to have built. They can do better.

Always shop here... (until now) bought 2 filets today... sell by date is 5/23 nvm it's 5/21 one smelled and tasted ok, the other smelled like (I kid you not) p**** Called the meat department they said if the sell by date is 5/23 it's fine. . I still decided to wash them twice in water and pat then dry each time, and do the same thing twice with vinegar, just in case. Cooked it medium well instead of my normal medium rare. Put it in my mouth and spit it right out. Unbearable and absolutely disgusting!! Glad I didn't eat it or I'd be writing this on the toilet. The soap I washed my mouth out with was better than that meat. Is this normal?

It seems like every time I go to this location and am having an "off" day, an employee provides extra kindness.... Annie is an outstanding employee and really went out of her way to make things easier this evening for customers. Thanks, Annie. Martha just made my day so much easier and she was so pleasant. I needed quarters for parking downtown. The banks aren't open yet. Running out to get some things before I get ready. She offered to give me $20 change in quarters. Thanks, Martha!! Your positive attitude and kindness is truly appreciated. The other night Brenda was so helpful and kind. I had a stressful day. Beautiful woman. Great smile!! Today August 31 I met Cheryl (night manager). So friendly and upbeat. Clearly loves her job and helping customers. Zoie helped me find things I needed. Denise was great too!!!

Very convenient so it's our regular grocery store. Fine for standard grocery items - meat and seafood are ok. We only wish the produce was better - we've had some bad experiences with dried up garlic cloves, bagged lettuce that was turning brown etc. Prices are no bargain either. Honestly, we would shop at Wegman's if it was a little closer.
