Beware of Dishonest Sales Tactics
I recently visited this GameStop to purchase a PlayStation 5 Digital Edition, and my experience was frustrating, to say the least. The employee (Tracy) assisting me seemed more focused on upselling unnecessary products than actually helping me make an informed purchase.
From the start, she persistently tried to sell me a membership despite my repeated refusals. When that didn’t work, she began misleading me about the differences between the digital and disc versions of the PS5, seemingly to push me toward the more expensive option. She falsely claimed that:
• The disc version has faster loading speeds (which is untrue, as both versions have the same SSD).
• The disc version has better picture quality (also false—both output the same resolution).
• The digital version overheats more than the disc version (again, completely untrue).
Even after debunking these claims and standing my ground on purchasing the digital version, she tried to downplay the price difference, saying the disc version was “only $50 more.” As a final attempt, she even asked if I already owned a PS5, as if that somehow mattered. When I confirmed that I did, she finally gave up.
One particularly strange moment was when she instructed her coworker to retrieve a specific box labeled “#4” from the back. It felt odd, almost like they had certain units they were prioritizing for sales, which only added to my suspicion about their tactics.
Overall, this experience was insulting to my intelligence and made it clear that the priority here was upselling rather than customer satisfaction. I’ll be reporting this to corporate, and I’d advise others to be wary of misleading sales pitches when shopping at this GameStop. Do your research beforehand and don’t let them pressure you into spending more than necessary.

I went and purchased a Xbox series S and when I returned home and opened the box I was given a Xbox One. I returned the system and then was told that they do not have any series S in stock. So I asked for my money back which still hasn’t been returned to my bank account.

the 3 employees were great, i remember one of their names, Mason. They were great, kept me company, talked about games and were so respectful and nice. I will be coming back for future trade ins, thank you

Delaney was patient and really cool! She helped process like 4 returns after each sale was completed. Simply just because my son couldn't make up his mind on what PS5 game he wanted.

Its hilarious to me seeing all the bad reviews about customer service, meanwhile they refused to hire me. Someone who would've been incredible at customer service. I don't feel as bad now, apparently they have really poor hiring ability here. Seems like a, you get what you deserve, situation.

So I just called this GameStop right a girl answered the phone and one there was so much noise in the background I could barely hear her and she did not care to tell them to be quiet even when I asked her till I asked her for a price of what Nintendo switches they had available and she didn't even care to look it up or anything she just threw out a number which I know is wrong because I had checked other places so I'm getting this a GameStop two stars

I pre ordered a game from this game stop and a worker called me to let me know and said they will be open at 10 am so I go there at 10 am and they didn't open till 11am. She lied to me won't go to that store anymore.
