About a week ago, I visited this Home Depot location and my car wouldn't start when I tried to return home. Two employees came to assist me and tried to give me a jump but I desperately needed a new battery. One employee talked me through how to change the battery myself so I wouldn't have to pay to have it installed.
I am so thankful for these men who assisted me. I would love to recognize them by using their names but I don't want them to get in trouble since they were on the clock.
Some people may make fun of Delco but we are a great community that truly comes together in times of need.

Keeping birds captive in netting. I’ve never seen any other Home Depot do this. Trapping birds in their store and letting them die.

I was in a bit of a hurry and needed a lanyard for a drill. 1 hr later I gave up. I asked 2 workers for help. They was in a crowd of 6. Not one would help me look. They would look on the phone and tell me where to go. But they would not move themselves. Like I said 6 workers hanging out by the register laughing and having a good time. After looking at 6 different spots and a hour later I just gave up and walked out.

Went to buy a electronic lock. Was told I'd be WATCHED on the way to the register. 10 year customer at this location. Never returning.

I purchased 8' posts and had them delivered, which there was a $35 fee. The items arrive damaged / defective. They will not pick up returns so I had to come up with transportation to bring them into the store due to their poor quality items. The cashier was rude, The uninterested to assist with the return, and had extremely bad breath. Why should the consumer be penalized a return / delivery fee when the merchant is at fault? If the correct, undamaged item was delivered, this return would not be required.

Excellent location and great employees who are knowledgeable and helpful. Sometimes they seem to be short staffed but you can always find someone to help.

If I could give this place a 0 I would. I go into to the store with my 70 year father to buy him an Ac for the summer. He’s a heart patient the young gentleman at self checkout was treating us like we were up to something. Our bill didn’t get accepted into the machine. I asked for assistance he said I can’t help. I said well the bill is real you can see the serial numbers and the silhouette. He copped an attitude then gave us the money out of the self checkout that it did accept. We then walked over to customer service to have an actual person ring us out. She was super pleasant and checked the bill everything was fine. We go to walk out with said ac unit and the same young gentleman asked for the receipt. My father thought he said have a nice day so my father replied you too. He said the receipt and I said yeah he has the receipt. The young gentleman aggravated read the receipt and we left. Never have I been treated like that in a store also with my 70 year old father. We all have bad days I understand but there’s no reason for disrespect to an elderly person who’s trying to buy something from your store.

We purchased blinds and needed them cut down, by customer service a really pleasant gentlemen offered to call and get us assistance ( he was the only friendly and helpful employee that we encountered). We waited 10 minutes and no one came so we found another employee and asked for help a second time again they called over the loud speaker and after 5 minutes no one showed. We then found another employee and again asked for help for the 3rd time they called over the loud speaker. We have now waited over 25 minutes and still no help. I asked the young man sitting at the paint counter if he could call someone or a manger and his response was our cutter is broken, I then asked how he even knew which one I needed since there were 3 in that aisle he shrugged his shoulders and walked away from me. Finally an assistant manager came over and he was the rudest of them all, he informed us that the cutter has no one to work it until 7pm (as a manager he should be trained in all departments) and that no one knew that is why they continued to call over the speaker. When I asked why I was told that the machine was broken he responded with, "well that is not his department so he didn't know". We have now wasted almost 45 minutes standing there at this point and the manager did absolutely nothing to smooth over the issue, no apology nothing at all just pure attitude. There is clearly no communication, not enough staff, and for sure no customer service . This location should be shut down, there is nothing but issues any time we need to visit this location. And you clearly can not expect much from the employees when they are being trained by that type of management.

The loss prevention team here is major unprofessional. I went in here with my tool, that they don't even sell, to buy a coupler and washer to see what would fit it. Immediately when I walked in I noticed a female was watching me in plain clothes. Weird. Anyways I purchased the said parts and walked back to the closest exit I came from. Immediately a older man and female stepped up to me and asked to see my receipt. The same female. I showed them my receipt and they tried to take my own tool out of my hand I said that's my tool and you can check the camera I came with it in the store... the female started to record me on her phone because at this point I stuck my hand out and told him to back up and not take things out of my hand. He started escalating the situation. My friend told the guy that we paid for our parts and that we didn't take anything. They let us go but he told me not to comeback. I told I do whatever I want to and that if there's an issue he can call the police. But I wouldn't recommend coming here if you security team is going to such a prick. I get they're trying to do their jobs and have the right to do so but they proper training.
Thanks for coming to my Ted talk but I define tly wouldn't come to this store

Price match is a sham. They can’t even match another Home Depot’s pricing. I was at marple store where they only had 3 cases of a particular floor left and I needed 10. I was sent to Ridley store. Ridley store’s price was higher. I asked if they would price match the marple store. I was told they can’t match price from other Home Depot’s because each store does their own thing. Awful experience. Lost trust with this customer
