I have been an FNB member for the past 24 years and have used dozens of different locations all over western pa and have almost always had a good experience with them. Today, 12-28-23 I drove my wife to work in Franklin from Mercer, and realized that I had forgotten my wallet and that I did not have enough gas to get back to Mercer, thankfully there is an FNB in Mercer right?? WRONG! I walked over to the bank and stood in line for the next available teller, when she hung up the phone she said "god"! And rolled her eyes, I should have known I was in for it. I explained to her that I had forgotten my wallet at home and need to withdrawal $10 dollars from my checking account, she immediately said "I need your id", I again explained that I forgot my wallet that morning and do not have my ID, but I literally know every number that I would need, account #, routing #, social security #, drivers license number, birthday, even my drivers license #, she insisted that she would not let me do a withdrawal without an ID, no matter what. I told her that I do t have enough gas to make it home and I would be stranded in Franklin unless I can access MY MONEY, she did not care and refused to help me, I asked to speak to the manager and was told I could wait for her but she is in a meeting that may take all morning. So I was literally stuck in Franklin because the lower woman in a gray sweater just decided she did not want to help a customer of 24 years. I had to go outside and ask a stranger for money! I told him that I don't have my wallet and my bank of 24 years won't let me access my money. He reached in his pocket and gave me the only $4 cash that he had. When I called the bank to complain, Tanya interrupted me and condescendingly asked what I want her to do. I asked to speak to her boss, and Melisa was the only person to have a shred of professionalism or decency to her. Moral of the story is that FRANKLIN FNB forced a customer of 24 years to beg a stranger for money on the street, and the stranger did a way better job at helping than the bank did. Shame on that branch for dragging down an otherwise good reputable bank.

This bank is disgusting ... offers overdraft, but when utilized cancels ur debit card without notice, flags your account, and won't let you get another one. So they penalize you for something they offer. Not to mention they don't cash checks written from THEIR bank for non customers over $250... then there's the customer service... can't get a call back to save a life. Also used their Zelle option and was told the money would be in the account GAURANTEED next business day... guess what.... I'm still waiting more than 2 bus days later... but money was already taken out of my account ... they can't tell me where the money is or why it hasn't been received by the recipient ... HORRIBLE bank. They don't even deserve 1 star! Don't walk away from this bank .... RUN !!!!

I’m not a customer of this bank, but I had checks from someone written from this bank. They wanted to charge me $10 per check to cash them there. What a way to treat a non-customer. I definitely won’t be doing business at this bank.

These people are crooks!! They will not refund a fraudulent charge that was put on your account! They simply send you a new card that absolutely does nothing to protect your account! I had a loan through them and they take multiple payments during a month period even if you are caught up or paid ahead. Their person that "takes care of things" Melissa is a huge joke! She will NOT take or return your phone calls and acts like she is to good or busy to take care of customer's needs! She needs fired and someone new put in! I will be moving my business account and banking needs else where i will not drop another penny in this the thieving bank! If i couls give 0 stars i would!

After 20 plus years of banking with this bank, I can not wait to remove all of my banking needs to another bank. This branch has horrible customer service and do not even try to get through the drive thru in a decent amount of time. I have not had any positive encounters with this branch in a long time...

Horrible to work with, and behind the times. Online banking is archaic at best. I pray you never have the misfortune to speak to any of the local representatives. Not only are they rude, but they seriously have no idea what their own bank's policies are. I seriously suggest you choose any other bank or credit union.

I have had multiple account breaches with First National Bank, despite being very careful with my information. After another fraudulent charge was spotted on my account, they asked me to cancel my card to protect my account. I checked my account every day, and the fraudulent charge was still pending. It seems to me like that would be the perfect time to take it off- before it goes through, and whatever j*** used my information gets something out of their stolen money. A week goes by, and the charge GOES THROUGH on my account. They had a WEEK to stop a charge that they noticed the SECOND it occured, and they couldn't manage to stop it, and refund me my money? I should not have to call once a day to direct them to do something that is very, very obvious. That is just bad service.

This bank is a joke if you do not have a account with them . So if anyone gives you a check on them do not take it cause they will not cash it unless it is under $250 . SMH what bank does not cash checks
