Excellent bakery, especially the doughnuts. Produce is above average in quality and decent price.

I am all for supporting local business but today 3/19/23 the store manager basically told me she couldn’t guarantee I didn’t steal from the store after their employees didn’t pack all of my items in my bags. This store refused to replace 2 items that THEY neglected to give me. Ordinarily I would leave something like this alone and move on with life but I don’t take well to being implied to be something I’m not. Sanders, you neglected to give me items I paid for and then basically told me “not my problem, deal with it.” Essentially this store stole my money.I will never purchase another item here again!”

First time here. A gem hidden away in a backstreet.Didn't realize how much is available in the building; typical supermarket, but with a floral dept, Deli and tables to eat at.My wife finally found her much-loved Middleswarth chips in this area! ? Very friendly staff on the registers.

Whoo-hoo! The Franklin grocery store survived! Sander's Markets is a grocery store that has a few different owners throughout the decades. This grocery store is Franklin's closest and a few years ago, prior to the pandemic, I was concerned if it would survive at all. The shelves were mostly empty, the selection was sparse, and if I had seen a tumbleweed I wouldn't have been surprised. Then Sander's took over ownership and the store looks so much better! Many aspects are the same - the decor hasn't changed in decades with the aisles named after Franklin streets, the same look and feel except no more cute elements like the model train that circled above people's heads or the rain sound effects when the misters over the produce turned on. That's fine as it was simply fluff. What's more important is they have a great selection of all food once more from fresh produce to meat and they have great customer service. I was searching for blueberries and asked a couple of employees if they knew if they had any. The one gentleman checked the back and returned telling me that the blueberries weren't put on the shelf because they were poor quality. I appreciated that he took the time to look, that he gave me a transparent answer when he returned, and demonstrated that the store cares about quality. It was great seeing that!

Wish Google gave the ability to do less than one star. I stood waiting and after 10 minutes of standing at the deli like a fool, asking for assistance twice, and then listening to the local gossip of the workers with the girl who walked up after I did I guess money isn't any good here and I'll be going elsewhere from now on.

Prices are a tad high but last night went down to just get corn as quickly as possible I told my mother I was going to rush ahead so we can be in an out the store due to holiday rush but the workers there where friendly and helpful except one. He down talked my mom and followed her through the store telling only her she needs to hurry up and that they where closing soon so she better make her selection and get out. Since when do employees talk to customers like that? She walks with a slight limp due to multiple surgeries and had gloves and a hat on from the cold. I understand wanting to close to go home for holidays the next day but it's not wise or humanely to talk to people in general that way even when making sales or running a business just left a terrible view in my opinion of that one worker but thankfully the girl an other people in the store where much friendlier...

Prices are really high since they are the only supermarket in town. Produce is decent but priced higher than elsewhere. You can find some specialty ingredients and the butcher selections are great. Price of meat is fair across the board. Seafood selection is all frozen.
