A couple of weeks ago it took 2 hours to order propane which still has not been delivered yet you bill me for an empty container. I cannot stand your company. You are a monopoly and I have been trying for 5 years to find a replacement for you. You charge to pay bills with credit card, you charge for an invoice you charge and charge and the customer service is horrendous. No one speaks proper English. Your chat was awful too.

Amerigas overcharges for their propane because the government allows them to do so. They're unethical..you're better off working with another vendor.

I placed an emergency order on Saturday afternoon. Power outage and tanks
were empty (generator runs on propane). Great time to find the gauge was broken, reading 80% but tank was empty. I was told delivery would happen
Saturday or Sunday. No delivery on either day. Called Monday morning and
was told delivery would happen on Monday, didn't happen. Delivery didn't
occur until Tuesday.

Once you’re a customer and the tank is there, get ready for refills about 1.75 times the industry average. Why? Because you cannot legally have another provider fill your tank. Buy your own tank so you can shop around for gas and not get ripped off by them.

We received a propane delivery quickly, sooner than estimated. Scheduling and delivery were both pleasant experiences. We’ve used AmeriGas for 13 years now, without issues.

Terrible customer service, more like NO customer service. call center is offshore so nobody understands what you are talking about. local office numbers have been disconnected so you can't talk to anyone that could help. was notified of a delivery coming 3 days ago. stayed home and waited all day no delivery and no call. online still has my delivery date listed for 3 days ago, online chat feature disabled, RUN AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! I'm only with them because they bought my previous supplier. They make you choose a star to post a review. I would not give them one star if I didn't have to.

Awful. Would dig the tank out of the lawn and throw it in the road if I could. Your call center took months to apply my HOA discount. Your customer experience is god awful. Every time I reach out the person I talk to has no idea about anything about my account. Very unhappy being a customer. Had to go without heat

Horrible customer service. The worst part is the you will send me a stock from Laura, which is a fake name, saying that you're so sorry for this experience! I guess Hugh Gallagher Paul Ladner could care less about their customers. If you really cared someone would call me personally.

I would rate negative if possible. My company switched from our old local supplier to AmeriGas and the service took a nosedive from the start. Three weeks late getting the cages and new bottles to the point that we had to send our own trucks out to fill the bottles from our old supplier (which they didn't charge us to hang on to when we explained our situation for having been a longtime customer before a corporation bought us out by the way) to start with.We constantly get tanks with bad valves that either don't work at all or blast cold propane when we hook them up to our forklifts and today I hooked one up and got some seriously painful freezer burn through my gloves because the last driver that filled out didn't turn the valve all the way off.The warehouse manager told me after that he always tightens the valve since that's happened to him a few times. If I had a say in who we deal with concerning propane I would definitely axe this company but sadly our ownership wouldn't listen to me so I'm stuck with them but I strongly advise looking elsewhere.I have also heard more than a few horror stories about home heating services but I can't speak from experience since I still have oil heat that I get from Reilly.

Horrible customer service!! I had an issue with deliveries based on a mistake a driver made blocking my account and never filing any ticket with office. It took multiple escalations and frustration with foreign customer service who just disconnect calls when they don’t know the answer to finally get a call back from local office who sent a tech out that day to apologize for the mistake on their end and verify that deliveries shouldn’t be block and delivery sent immediately. I then receive a bill for a $339 service tech visit that I DID NOT ORDER. Trying to get through to get this bill removed is IMPOSSIBLE!
