Staff was helpful and warm. This was an entirely different experience than my visit a few months ago to their sister shop at 3754 Nazareth Rd, Easton PA.

My mother recently passed. With this, has come funeral arrangements. I was tasked with finding an outfit for my mother that would both fit and represent her best for the service and to rest in (she lost weight in her last weeks, and I am the only other female in the family.)Being unsure of her size, I came into the store and was overwhelmed with hope. The organized clothes, differing styles, range of sizes, and almost immediate "HELLO!" from the back made me feel like I had chosen the right place.I was then approached by a stylist (who's name I sadly don't remember- it doesn't really matter though) and she seemed a little thrown off by my request, which I don't blame her. Even with my years in retail, I've never experienced what it was I was requesting. We kept picking pieces out (in my mother's assumed size that we HAD previously discussed) to find some common ground, but everything I had seen was fully head-to-toe black. Which, also, is fine, just not exactly what I was looking for. We are able to find a silk blouse together. Regardless, there was still seemingly a bit of a disconnect. She then asks her manager on shift for some assistance, and when she came over, she was overall very helpful and directly answered any questions I had. However, when the stylist tried explaining my situation to her manager, they both seemed to grow more and more lost- I reiterate that my mother lost weight and I am unsure of her size while holding said silk blouse in my hand. A size 20. They then stop me, and the manager asks, "oh, so this isn't for you? aren't you picking something out for the funeral?"No... I am 5'2, 145lbs, and roughly a size 10-12 (last I checked).Of which, this store starts carrying sizes 14 and up.To preface- here is no overall plus-size slander in this. I focus on body neutrality because we cannot control every bodily function/factor/genetics. Granted, I'm sure they were thrown off by my request, and are accustomed to people coming in to shop for themselves, and most likely didn't have enough time one-on-one to properly discuss the best plan of action for my circumstance. However, as someone who struggles with disordered eating and body image issues, and already dealing with a very delicate shopping situation, I felt as though they did not pay attention to my situation or the words I was saying, rather what they could sell me on.Yes, they gave condolences, yes they offered an exchange if need be. Overall business operation was smooth I suppose. I did proceed with the purchase. However days later I am still struggling to have a healthy relationship with food after having a comment (whether direct or indirect) be made about my body. Not to mention am completely still thrown off with how little attention had to have been paid while I was explaining my loss and situation at the beginning of the interaction.I gave two stars because overall the service I received from the stylist was genuinely helpful, and because I did find a good outfit here. I feel as though if they were not as flexible with holding products/explaining exchange policies, I most likely would've spent my money elsewhere and given 1 or 0 stars. I know my mom liked this store a lot though, so hopefully my experience was a one off, and the outfit does her justice.

Staff very very helpful. Was not going to make a purchase. A shirt caught my eye on the way out. Thought they didn't have my size, the model in the window had the size i needed. The staff gladly removed the shirt and have it to me.
