Some of the best people work there. Young guy with the black nit hat, could not be more help full and the lady in the morning or even some nights ,could not find things for you faster. Always has a smile on her face. No matter the situation. Keep store thier they have good prices.

Giving 1 star for customer service !
Didn’t get a name because she was not wearing a name tag. A girl with ginger hair wavy long.
Walk up to counter with my items..texting on her phone. Not a hello, hi nothing. Continues to text as I’m putting my 5 items on counter. Rings my items, bags and gives me my total. Pulls out phone starts texting. After I paid handed me my receipt. Starts texting again and while texting says, don’t forget your bags as they are still hanging. Looks down and starts texting. I get my bags off. No have a good day. Thank you ! Nothing. JEESH!
Kids let’s put the phones down while greeting, checking out and being a customer service representative! I was going to say something , but I didn’t want to embarrass her.

It's no different then the rest of the deceptive pricing stores. The shelf price says one thing but when you get to the register it's a lot more then the shelf said. I got scammed a couple of times before I realized that. Quite a few of the states have a class action law suit against Dollar General for the deceptive pricing.

The manager at this particular general, dollar store in Gap PA would not release my package ti me due to a first name only technicality. They never checked my identification for address comparison, nor did they except the QR code that I had to identify this package. Not being able to pick up this package has cost me several hours of phone calls to FedEx to try and find my package. The manager told me it would be sent to my house when instead and it’s being sent back to California. I would never recommend anybody to have their FedEx packages delivered here.Update… I had to drive an hour to go pick up the package

The new DOLLAR GENERAL STORE on Lincoln Highway, N.Versailles,PA is BEAUTIFUL! They recently moved across the street into their own building & it is pristine! Everything is clean,new, shiney,sparkling...even the windows which is very inviting! The aisles are wide & its nice & cool inside, all brand new yellow carts & good parking! The staff is friendly & happy & provide excellent customer service. This new DG store has everything! And the prices are excellent& it is WELL STOCKED! The $1 section is excellent with a big assortment of items + lots of good cleaning stuff! Its bright & cheerful atmosphere was a nice change from the other hot,stuffy,dirty,overcrowded,out of everything,grumpy staffed,YECH stores I had just been in before going to DG! I will skip the others next time! DG had most of what I needed at better prices & a much more pleasant shopping experience. It is EASY to get to, EASY to park, EASY to shop, EASY to check out, & you don't feel WORN OUT from being in a hot stuffy store or MAD because they were out of everything! You feel happy cause it was a NICE place with NICE FRIENDLY SMILING HELPFUL well staffed people who have obviously been trained to be CUSTOMER SERVICE oriented! Very AWESOME place to shop with good prices, good sales,good selection. I love this DOLLAR GENERAL STORE!
