Today 2-7-26 - 8:38am, my husband called Smuckers propane for signed up refills, initially told upon signing up with- refills will be an automatic at 30% levels, signing on rate no additional charge for service refill included in signup servives.
At 8:38am my husband was told by female person that “ We are not in your area today, if you want propane refill there will be an additional $75.00 charged as well” “ female person verbalized “ you have 11 days left anyway”, toned sarcastically? As if we asked her an opinion, which was not done?
When we signed on almost 2 yrs ago, in our 55+ retirement community area, we were told at 30% would be an automatic refill: no addition charges for refill; we own our tank.
Winter weather advisory again an two days ago last one, nice to feel ignored.
Being a semi retired nurse 36+, my husbands tractor trailer driver for buisness deliverys, we have always publically help society, an still do. To be treated like inappropriate. Unprofessional, retirement communtiy now, unacceptable!?!
I submitted customer service of this very same issue; prior to posting this. If anyone else is experiencing this type attitudes, as paying customers, 55+ retirement areas?
We are now shopping for new better, polite, an professional type service; anyone relating to this- should also know your not alone, an follow by example.

Worse propane customers service skill owner said it's a company to make money even though we had $300 we wouldn't take it he wanted more money moving somewhere else that wants my money

We own our own tank for Propane so we always price around, a a while back, stumbled over Smucker Propane while researching on the internet. What a Blessing to have found them. Their prices are better than anyone else and Customer Service are the best. I Live in Holtwood, they delivered today as promised, with the "Fuel Good Initiative" they uphold.
