My family has had an incredible experience with Lightbridge Academy in Garnet Valley. From the moment we enrolled our child, we knew we made the right choice for their early education. The center exudes warmth, care, and a genuine commitment to children's development.The staff at Lightbridge Academy is outstanding. The dedication and enthusiasm they display daily are remarkable and create a positive atmosphere that is evident the moment you walk through the door.Under the new leadership, the center has undergone positive changes that have significantly enhanced the overall experience. Communication with the staff and administration has been exceptional. The team is always accessible, providing regular updates on our child's progress and happily addressing any concerns we may have. Their willingness to listen and work collaboratively with parents is truly appreciated.The facility itself is well-maintained, clean, and designed to stimulate a child's imagination. The safety measures in place give us peace of mind, knowing our child is in a secure environment.Communication between the staff and parents has improved significantly. Regular updates on a child's progress, along with open channels for parents to provide feedback, have made us feel more connected and involved in our child's education. The director's open-door policy and willingness to listen to parents' concerns and suggestions have created a sense of partnership and trust.

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the positive changes and remarkable improvements at Lightbridge Academy in Garnet Valley under the guidance of their new director and administration team. The transformation has been nothing short of astonishing.The center has a renewed sense of purpose and dedication to the well-being and education of the children. The staff, under this new leadership, has commitment to fostering a nurturing and educational experience for every child.One of the most impressive aspects of the changes at Lightbridge Academy is the revamped curriculum and its seamless implementation. The curriculum is thoughtfully designed to cater to each child's unique learning style and developmental needs. It's evident that a great deal of effort and expertise has gone into crafting a well-rounded program that encourages exploration, creativity, and a love for learning. The diverse range of activities, both indoors and outdoors, ensures that children are engaged and excited about their daily learning experiences.The improvements in the center's operations are palpable. I was discriminated against based on my religion one day prior to my child's start date. Note: Their handbook I received, the discrimination policy did not explicitly state "religion". They explained because they are a private business, they have the right to decline anyone.

My daughter attended here from September 2022-July 2023. She loved it there and I could tell she was happy to be there every day. This was the first outside care she experienced at 1 and I was so nervous for her since she couldn’t talk to let me know what was happening and how she was feeling. The staff in mobile infants were the absolute best and my daughter grew so much under their care. It was a hard decision to leave and I’m grateful to have had such a good experience here. They posted pictures and updates of her day, what she’s learning, how much she ate, and more. Plus if you want, you can get a live feed for an added fee. I loved those little things because it helped me feel like I wasn’t missing out on too much. I would definitely recommend them, but of course we all have different expectations and experiences.

I looked into quite a few daycares for my newborn before selecting this one. This one was far superior. My child has been enrolled for a few months and we are very happy there.

We unfortunately had an awful experience at Lightbridge, and I mean awful as in I regret not calling the police. Our little one was in the infant room Sept 2022-Oct 2022. On her last day, one of the staff was trying to feed our daughter a bottle. I happened to check in on the parent camera and noticed my daughter a little upset. All of a sudden, I see the staff member push the lounger my daughter was sitting in across the floor and toss the bottle at my daughter, hitting her in the head. I immediately dropped what I was doing and went to pick my daughter up. When I got to the room, the staff member said "she refused to hold her bottle, so she didn't finish her milk" and then she proceeded to hand me a half-full bottle. Our daughter was 5 months old at the time.Another time, I witnessed this same staff member holding a pacifier in my daughter's mouth and pushing on her face to bounce her in a bouncer. She was bouncing my daughter so hard that her head was banging off the back of the bouncer. The staff member mentioned in this review (Ashley) is unfortunately still employed as of this post date. What's worse is the camera footage I was viewing was only a live stream and could not be recorded. This was reported to the staff at Lightbridge, but as I mention, the staff member is still working there.I would strongly caution against Lightbridge for the infant classroom. They heavily rely on swings, recalled loungers, and bouncers. They also prop bottles for the little ones because they have too much to manage.

We attended Lightbridge for 5 years. Having camera access was a huge benefit and and added peace of mind. We had many caring teachers. We were lucky enough to have Miss Alison for 2 classrooms. She is just a wonderful teacher and person. Very calm and caring. She is very creative and keeps the kids engaged with fun centers and crafts. She also sends many pictures throughout the day via the app. It’s so nice to get photos and see your child happy in the classroom. We never got nearly as many photos in any other classroom there. Alison really goes above and beyond!

While our time at Light Bridge was short our little guy was lucky to be in Miss Alison's class. She went above and beyond to make sure he felt comfortable in her class room. This made us as parents feel comfortable leaving knowing he was in good hands and ready to learn. She made us a book at the end of the year with pictures of our little guy from through out the year. This was very special to us. Anyone that gets to have there child learn with Miss Alison is Extra lucky and should know their kiddos are in good hands!!.

We started at Lightbridge during covid and we are glad we made that choice. The thing we love most is all the wonderful teachers who go above and beyond to make my kids feel like they are apart of there family, and make them look forward to school everyday. We have loved all of our teachers, but I do want to give a special shout out to Ms. Alison. We loved having her as my daughters teacher. I felt like she took special care of my daughter, even though that's the vibe everyone had as well. I'm sure in our new classrooms we'll grow to love the new teachers as well!

Both our children have attended Lightbridge, and we have been very happy with the experience overall and the care they have received. Our children have had many wonderful and caring teachers over the years at Lightbridge. One teacher in particular who stands out is Ms. Alison - she goes above and beyond in terms of communication, classroom activities, and investment in each child. All of the other teachers have been great as well.

My son went to Lightbridge Academy for 5 years. It was a great experience! Miss Alison always went above and beyond to make him comfortable even when he wasn’t in her class anymore! Miss Alison’s caring and sweet personality really shows in the classroom and my son always talked about her and the fun activities and how she made learning fun!

We love Lightbridge our son started there when he was just 3 months and now he’s turning 3. Every classroom he has been in has been amazing. Alison in his orange giraffe classroom is so incredible. She is so active with the kids singing songs and playing games and is so always posting photos and detailed comments in the app so we get to see all the fun our son is having at daycare.
