Almost don’t want to leave a review so I can be selfish & keep this place a secret. The best experience about this hotel was the staff. We stayed over Presidents Day Weekend 2024 - I did not catch everyone’s name - wish I had but I hope the owners know how lucky you are to have such a fabulous crew - from the housekeeping staff to front desk personnel- everyone was incredibly warm, hospitable, and made our stay memorable! Thank you for making such a strong first impression- we will be back!

Nice, clean room and everything was functional. Good, helpful staff and a decent breakfast selection. Walking distance to many local restaurants and shops. Near the cemetery and close to the beautiful visitors center.

Hotel is well kept and updated. Right in heart of Gettysburg. Room is large and comfortable. They have limited housekeeping due to staff shortages. This did not negatively impact our stay. Breakfast was good and breakfast attendant did a great job. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Absolute perfection. We were stopping by just for the night on our way back from Florida. Decided to go for a Best Western as the prices very interesting and the reviews were very good. The hotel was great. So clean, big rooms, comfortable bed, and the breakfast was excellent. Did not regret stopping there.

New, modern hotel with views of the battlefield at Gettysburg. I stayed for a couple of nights and found this place to be a great location — literally drove across the street to the battlefield cemetery for sunset.Free parking, WiFi and breakfast (on the 3rd floor overlooking the battlefield). There’s a large parking lot behind the hotel, which isn’t easily seen on Google Maps currently (2024) but is entirely adequate. You can walk out of the lobby and grab dinner at the nearby Appalachian Brewing Co., which is maybe 30 seconds away. I also walked from here to Dobbin House Tavern, which I’d highly recommend doing for dinner. There’s a McDonald’s next door along with a Friendly’s, so no shortage of places to grab foodThis hotel also has a pool and fitness center. The room rates were very reasonable. Plenty of electrical outlets in the room for your chargers. My room had a fridge and microwave. There’s a small area for snacks and drinks in the main lobby next to the front desk. The staff was friendly and helpful in pointing in the right directionRooms: My room included an HDTV with the usual cable lineup, a fridge, microwave, closet, AC, a desk and two bedsNearby activities: There’s a place directly next door that offers guided battlefield tours. You can cross the street and park in the lot for the battlefield cemetery, where Lincoln gave the Gettysburg Address.Safety: The parking lot is well litWalkability: I easily walked from here to Dobbin House and some stores in town. Walking down further to the downtown area is probably more of a 20+ minute walk from hereFood & drinks: Best Western Gettysburg offers free breakfast on the third floor in a room overlooking the battlefield. Options included egg and sausage English muffins, fruit, yogurts, cereal and a waffle-maker. They have a machine with a few different juice options. There’s a McDonald’s and a Friendly’s next door and the Appalachian Brewing Co. is one building down the streetNoteworthy details: Some rooms overlook the battlefield, depending which side of the hotel you’re on

In a town where there are a lot of subpar hotels, the Best Western Gettysburg is good enough. Value was excellent, with a decent (and very scenic) breakfast on the top floor, friendly staff, and a comfortable, functional room. I would go back given I have found nothing better at a price I would call reasonable in Gettysburg. Minus one star for the trash left over from the last guest in my room, and minus one star for not providing housekeeping due to a "nationwide staff shortage." That excuse might have flown two years ago, but a failure to find housekeepers at this point is a challenge that needs to be fixed. I wouldn't stay more than one night for that reason.

Clean and comfortable in an excellent location. The room was quiet and one didn't feel cramped at all. Plus you can have breakfast overlooking the battlefield, which is a great reason to stay.

An excellent hotel. Management went above and beyond to help us with an out of the ordinary situation. Our family will be back in the future.

This hotel has an excellent location. You can walk to some areas of the battlefield, and there are many restaurants and shops within walking distance as well. Downtown is less than a mile away and a pretty easy walk as well. The room was nice and clean. Would definitely stay here again.

This hotel exceeded expectations. The location is right next to the battle grounds and was in walking distance to most shops and restaurants. The front desk ladies upon check-in and checkout were great and very informative. The cleaning staff were so nice and on top of everything. I will most definitely be staying here again when visiting Gettysburg.
