Years ago -- like 15 years ago -- this was an OK option (mostly because it was pet friendly). They've been in a constant state of renovation for a number of years now, but it's tough to discern where exactly progress has been made. The fact is that the rooms are disgusting, and the facility generally feels unsafe with exterior doors ajar and room doors that don't lock properly. Roaches have taken up residence, and it's just plain gross.Don't even try asking for a refund because they won't acknowledge exactly how bad the hotel has become, and you'll walk away feeling like it's your fault the place is such a mess.

Very interesting place... Not in a good way... I don't even know how or where to begin... Pulled down the driveway and was greeted with a strange man all in black holding an AK-15 ... My husband and I were very confused and couldn't understand it .. apparently there was some kind of coin show .. but this was very unsettling . I mean if your security at least wear something that says your security he was just all in black leather .. also, he just continuously stared at us as we walked into the hotelWe walked in to The lobby and up to the desk and was greeted by a sign that said be back in 10 minutes... Which honestly makes no sense because that sign could have been there for hours.. but surprisingly someone appeared quickly ...but I will say the lobby was nice.. We had a room on the second floor with a balcony.. The balcony overlooked the pool.... not what I was expecting but okay....(Pool is indoor). As we made our way towards the elevator, we had a walkout into this strange outer hallway to make it to the elevator... Again okay. Once we got to the second floor and opened the door, we were met with the most moody purple. Absolutely everywhere.. But no sign as to which way to go.. We had to choose. Do we go straight or do we go right?.. room numbers and directions would be great... So anyway we said let's go straight. The numbers are going up ...well That was the worst decision ever.. I can't even begin to describe how many times we turned down hallways until we finally made it to our room..We really started to believe we were in some matrix glitch.... I still can't figure out this floor plan... Once we walked in our room we were hit with kind of a chlorine type smell, which I guess is expected since we had a balcony out to the indoor pool.. The room I will say was clean, however the TV was something out of 1985... We'll get back to that...The door did not have a security lock. It did however have a really old bathroom stall lock above the door handle that was so encrusted with paint. It was unusable. I guess this was the "chain" for security at some time.. also the molding around the door looked like the door was kicked in from the outside. It just really was an unsafe situation.. I'm glad I wasn't alone...It also seems that every room that faces the pool are adjoining rooms... So already feeling unsafe about the door. Just adding another door was a topper...The bathroom was very clean. It looked newly renovated but inside there was a weird sign that advised that all the towels are coaded and could be seen by the staff only and are counted??? If you take any you will be charged.... I have never seen this in my life.. my husband and I looked at every corner of these unspecial unsoft towels... And if there is a special code I guess good for them cuz I can't find it... So we put on the TV... Well tried to because the remote would not turn it on..Now I'm not saying this is a big issue because we were out all day and this was like 10:00 at night when we noticed this... But we turn the TV on from the TV itself and we get lines... The channel would come on and it would just be lines and jumping through the whole thing with a weird reddish tinge... There's also no cable and it's like local antenna TV so there's like five six channels but you could barely even see them. So why bother?...There was also no point to the balcony because who's going to sit there and stare at people while they swim... Also, if you wanted any "natural" light in your room from the pool rooms skylight and you kept your curtain to the balcony open everybody could see you in your room...It was just very oddUnfortunately, getting a good price isn't always the best choice... We went on a spur of the moment trip which was wonderful.. but would I stay here again?.. noRooms: Clean. ONLY good thingSafety: Molding around the doors look like the doors were kicked in from the outside. No chain.. or extra security lock

I’m going to break this review in to two categories- 1. The hotel itself. And 2. The staff. The building is old- it’s in desperate need of being leveled and rebuilt. I know there are talks of a casino coming in- I hope that they do just that- and keep the indoor pool/hotel. But overall the place is sad.The staff- always welcoming- willing to make your stay as comfortable as possible. A group I go with to this hotel rent the entire place for the weekend. They are always happy to host us.

Do not I repeat do not. It smells moldy and musty. Very dirty. More so then last time we were there. But let me tell you. This time there was not a sole there. Just us. After we paid they then informed no hot breakfast cause not enough staying. OK no big deal. Then only the maintenance man's master card would open the door to the room. But we decided not to even walk in let alone stay there. So as we go to cancel our stay and leave the woman was rude from the start and only got worse. Tried to talk down to my wife. But it was canceled and we walked out. Checking her bank account we seen we didn't get charged the $117 a night. We would have been charged 400 for our 2 nights. How? The math doesn't work out there. We were the ONLY people there out of the entire property. They can't give a room away but charge me 117. Then to find out truly charged us 200 a night. This is a joke. No breakfast and empty I should've gotten that room for 60 a night. I know how these places work. Absolute garbage. Charge double behind our back no breakfast rude as hell and we were the only there. Avoid this place at all costs. I am real. This review is real and what she tried to pull is real. Heed my warning friends. And yes the pool looks like a construction sight not like the pics. All the pics are a fraud this place is a fraud

NEVER LEAVE A DESK UNMANNED. I don't care if there is a private event. If you DONT have an option for room service, and don't answer your phones, how are you supposed to get the needed items such as more towels and toilet paper? Oh and our room has ANTS!

Went there for a conference. It's a large complex with plenty of space for conventions and conferences. And you wouldn't know it, but it's actually connected to a newer section that has its own name and acts as its own separate hotel - called The Aspire. Half of our group was confused, and we stayed at the Eisenhower part, whereas our venue was actually held at the Aspire, so every day, we had to treck throughout the property to get to our meetings. As for the room I stayed in, it felt old and dated, and there were parts where you could see the dust, so obviously it wasn't cleaned very thoroughly... I finally checked myself into the Aspire. That room looked more modern, but it wasn't any cleaner... Food choices weren't the best. The restaurant at the hotel was alright, and there was an overpriced deli shop with subpar food, but the included breakfast was good and served by friendly faces. Also, it was only a 5 - 10 minute drive down the road to other restaurants and the main part of Gettysburg.Safety: We arrived on a Wednesday afternoon, and it looked and felt like a ghost town! There wasn't a car in sight. Some other colleagues arrived at night, and for them, it felt sketchy because it was so dark and quiet. We didn't even see a person behind the counter for several minutes, lol. They did get more people over the weekend, however.

Photos on the website make it seem like the hotel is fresh, new, and clean. However, it was mildly dirty, stale, and the renovations were cheaply done and in some cases incomplete.

Great location to attend events. It is close to home and driving is easy. For disabled individuals there are few spots and not much parking on that side of the building. Breakfast is comparable to other hotels. Room last time was not clean and one bed sheets looked as if it was just remade. I always pull sheets and cover down and check mattress. There was hair and dirt at bottom. So I slept in the other bed. Upon leaving I peeled everything off both beds.Rooms: The beds and pillows are very comfortable. Heating and cooling is wonderful. Always have hot water for showers.Nearby activities: The battlefield and excellent restaurants are just a few minutes away. When I stay at the Eisenhower there are usually alot of bikers at the adjacent Aspire hotel so I would assume there are things that they enjoy in the area.Noteworthy details: There are fireworks for sale nearby. Haunted tours.

Great hotel near Gettysburg PAClean rooms and the staff is great. The lounge is good with pretty good food. The breakfast is decent for hotel but I would prefer more choices on the bread and breakfast meat choices. The pool area is ok .. the pool was way too warm for an indoor pool.

We liked the restaurant, the lounge was great, the staff friendly and helpful. The on-site deli was great. They have an indoor heated pool. Also an arcade with some family games. Work out room. A great place for conventions. The breakfast in the morning was great. The rooms were clean and adequate.Food & drinks: The food was great. I ordered the fresh pasta with alfredo sauce and chicken. It was delicious. The bartenders were great friendly and professional.
