Renn Kirby are cheats and liars - supposed 30 yr finance manager told us we had to pay our full tag renewal (2yr) to transfer our tags. Lo and behold when we received registration it was for only 1 year AND they refuse to refund us the extra tag fees we were charged. Check and double check your figures - screen shot every piece of you sign (before you go sign the final docs) and compare when you signing the final docs. We questioned and caught them several times with differences in the figures when it was time to sign the final documents. Too bad we weren't educated enough to know about the tag registration guidelines. Who knows what else, we were scammed on? Called and complained to Chevrolet and was basically told they are an independent dealer and can't make them refund the difference. They offered us a $100 off our next service valid for 1 year. If I need service on my new brand new vehicle - there is a problem!

Bought a used car and unfortunately had a severe mechanical failure on day 6. The car ended up getting impounded. I bought the car at the beginning of the month and after putting a down payment on the car, paying rent and monthly bills, and getting a new insurance policy, I wasn’t in the financial position to get the car out of impound. The sales manager Charles took care of everything for me and even offered to cover the towing expenses on his personal card if need be but wasn’t necessary because the dealership was able to cover the lot fees. Charles and my sales agent Alex were dedicated to helping me with everything and spent all day working to make everything right for me. Thankfully Alex in finance convinced me to buy the Ally major guard coverage which covers the drive train and even though this situation was stressful and very upsetting I didn’t have to spend a penny to get it corrected and the dealership worked with me every step of the way. I was given a brand new loaner truck at no cost too! Customer service is key and they nailed it. This was my first ever dealership purchase and I can say I trust them to take care of their customers and will buy through them again.

Mark was great. He made sure we understood everything. He spent extra time helping me trouble shoot the MyChevy app. He immediately answered any questions. I felt like he was a true partner in the transaction rather than a "salesman" trying to close a deal. I'd recommend Mark and Renn Kirby to all my friends and family.

They Sold us a defective car! We drove from Northern Virginia and went to purchase a Pre Owned 2022 VW Passat with 15k miles and a Clean Carfax. The car had a malfunctioning Blind Spot Monitoring system and the Alert Light was ON at the time of purchase which both the Sales Person, Chris, and the Sales Manager, Mike, were made aware of. Mike had us contact a VW Dealership to confirm if the car is under the Factory Limited Warranty and it was after our call to the VW Dealership. Mike assured us that it will be fixed and just take it to the dealership as the car is under the factory limited warranty and we UNFORTUNATELY TRUSTED HIM. After purchasing the car and taking it to the local VW Dealership were we have been a longterm customer there, they notified us that this car had been worked on before and the Issue at hand is due to MISSING WIRES HARNESSES inside the door where the wires are CUT! Therefore, this is not a warrantable issue and we are responsible for the repair costs. After I communicated these issues and sent all documents to Mike and Chris, it took them a week to respond to me and yet when I was able to get Mike on a call he sated that they can’t do anything since the car is under warranty and they will be not making any efforts to correct this issue. Plain and simple, they sold us a defective car and took NO STEPS in correcting their mistakes and errors. After speaking with the VW Dealership, they told me that when Mike called them, he expected them to fix it and just cover the problem under warranty when this is not even a warranty covered problem. This is a problem they had to correct before selling a car and it is fully their responsibility and fault. The car has been sitting in the VW Service Center ever since and we cannot get any resolution from this Renn Kirby Management. A TOTAL DISASTER AND WHAT A HECTIC AND UNACCEPTABLE EXPERIENCE! Do yourself a favor and unless you are going for a New Car, don’t even bother going to this place until Mike, the Sales Manager, is no linger in place. Definitely not recommended nor should be suggested by any means!

I have always had great experiences at Renn Kirby. Always have been willing to work with me and my family even when our credit was awful, weren’t able to have co-signers, and didn’t have money down due to us having to buy due to an accident that left us with no extra money. So of course I told my fiancé that was the first place we were going to try after he totaled his truck in an accident this week. We were taken over to the ‘great salesman’ Mark, and his personality was absolutely awful. After hearing all of the struggles we’ve gone through the past 4 months with a child in the NICU which resulted in his credit not being great- he told us there was absolutely nothing he could do for us and to go rent a uhaul truck to finish our landscaping jobs and come back when we had money to put down. Needless to say, we will NOT be back. We left immediately and went over to Apple dodge in Hanover where they were happy to help us & will be running some options Monday once the banks open back up. I am SO disappointed. Bring back Curtis.

After being a loyal customer to another make and model for the last 10 years...The need for the vehicle I drove around changed, so I invested in my first Chevy Truck! Went with a Certified Pre-Owned and I cannot go with out saying that having this truck for under 24 hours, the experience provided from my initial contact with Brittany (Internet Sales Manager) to then Mark Knott (Sales Professional) and the Sales Manager Charles was First Class! These guys made the process fun, seamless and more importantly I felt like a customer.Buying a car these days is tough. Other experiences I had in the last few weeks had me shaking my head. Other dealerships gave off a sense of "they did not need me" and "they would just sell to anyone else" kind of an attitude! Cool with me and good luck in your career!That said, this is not how I felt with the Team at Renn Kirby Chevy in Gettysburg! They were First Class!I myself have been in business for 20 years. When around long enough we all know that markets change. And when they do, because it will, the team at Renn Kirby Gettysburg will continue to Thrive!!! Brittany, Mark, Charles and can't forget Joe (Finance Manager) Thank you all for a great experience!

Kenny, Mike and Alex make a great team. When we were out looking for our vehicle the this great group of guys were no pressure and made the purchase of our new vehicle as smooth as possible. I highly recommend checking them out and walking through a deal with them. No pressure, easy to deal with - all rare qualities in the car sales industry - but these guys have it!

Having traveled to Gettysburg on vacation, we were enjoying our time when the dreaded CHECK ENGINE light came on. We called the service department at Renn Kirby and they said to come in and they would check the error code and see how urgent the issues was. Kevin Nagle, the Service Advisor, ran the code and put our minds at ease that we could still drive the vehicle and make it back home with out having to deal with the issue on vacation. Thank you so much for taking the time to put our minds at ease.

I came in knowing what I was looking for and the specific questions I had related to the vehicle and purchasing/financing process. Chris was great about finding answers to my questions in a timely manner, and explaining the process if/when we were waiting on information. He made sure I was comfortable and understood what Chevrolet had to offer for the purchase of the new vehicle. All staff I interacted with were very helpful and personable.

The worst service department ever. We were traveling home 300 miles from destination and our truck broke down. They refused to even hook it to a machine and just told us to park it and they’d look at it in 2 weeks. They wouldn’t even hook it up to a diagnostic machine real quick to see if it was something simple. Guy could’ve cared less. He was extremely rude. Called Chevrolet dealer in Frederick, MD and they understood our emergency and were happy to help us! They were also booked two weeks out, but understand the predicament we were in and were happy to help us. Don’t buy or use Renn for service. Drive a little further to Frederick Chevrolet who cares .

I was selling my truck and Emily reached out to me. They made me a great offer on my vehicle. Emily made the transaction seamless and also came to Harrisburg to pick it up. Definitely a great experience.
