Dropped off my 15ft truck on early Saturday evening after a long day of one-way driving from Virginia. A super nice rep Brianna helped me with my truck checkin right there in the drive in lot. She took care of all the details in like 5 minutes and had me on my way. Wonderful service!!

return of my vehicle trailer was much easier and faster than I imagined or hoped for. Drove up, dis-engaged the trailer, and the very nice rep was polite, courteous, professional, and got me in and out in under 5 minutes. Perfect!

Booked on line at closest place to me, get there no one there to help me. Went ti the next closest U-Haul, no truck there I could rent and get to a third place, which under quoted the mileage and I had to pay more. Won’t rent from U-Haul again.

Saturday 8/10/24 I visited the Gettysburg U-Haul location, as I have many times in the past, to have the propane tank for my grill refilled. However, the customer service associate working at this location today refused to refill my tank on the grounds that she could not read the date on it. She called the manager of the store when I told her that the date is 09/15. She still insisted that she could not read the number. The manager told her to offer me a tank exchange. However, neither the customer service associate nor the manager could provide the price of a tank exchange. Her exact words were “well I think like it’s 39.99.” She said she couldn’t be sure because “there are so many prices to remember.” So I asked her to call the manager back and ask him and he did not answer. I basically told her that she was refusing my business because she neither would refill my tank nor would she give me the price of an exchange. I honestly have no idea why the tank exchange prices are not posted as they are everywhere else. I have been a loyal propane customer for years. My last tank refill before this horrible experience at the Gettysburg UHaul was 5/15/24. I did not have a problem getting it refilled that day and I never have had a problem in the last three years that I have been buying propane at this location before today. Perhaps when this location is open there needs to be a manager on duty who can provide basic answers to questions such as “what is the price of a propane tank exchange?” In the end I took my tank to Tractor Supply and had no problem getting it refilled. I will no longer be giving the Gettysburg U-Haul any of my business.

I can find nothing critical to say about my experience with this location, the equipment or the customer service. Your counterperson Craig O was very polite and patient despite the numerous people that showed up all at once early Saturday morning. He explained everything thoroughly and very professionally! Moving is a stressful experience and thanks to Craig's demeanor, the day started well.

I wanted to take a moment to give a glowing five-star review to the U-Haul location in Gettysburg. Jacob is consistently the staff member I interact with, and each time he ensures a smooth and efficient experience. His professionalism, speed, and courtesy are truly commendable. I cannot find a single negative thing to say about Jacob - he is always a pleasure to deal with. A big shoutout to him for his exceptional service!

Just had a hitch installed yesterday. Ethan helped me from scheduling to installation of a hitch for our 2024 Telluride at a fraction of the cost from the dealership. Great work and was completed in a timely manner. Highly recommended!
