My recent experience with Pine Richland Auto Works for a State and Emissions inspection was disappointing. I was surprised by the $93 charge, which is much higher than other shops who are able to provide the same service between $65 to $75. Additionally, Eric was unable to explain or justify a shop supplies surcharge when no work was done on the vehicle and I was told it was in excellent condition. I will be taking my business and vehicles elsewhere in the future.

Place is a joke. They stated in their response they want to talk and make it better but they never called. You have my number, call me if you say you are great shop….Attempted to take my vehicle here for a simple service. Attempted to give them my trust with my vehicle that was not repaired correctly at another shop, however they would not give me Their Trust by allowing me to watch them perform a simple wheel alignment on my vehicle. Would not recommend a place if they want to work on my car in the shadows and not allow me to see what they are doing. Been an ASE certified technician for over 15 years and the shops I’ve worked at always allowed willing clients to view the repairs, even if it was just from the garage bay door. Too bad my job history is 300 miles away in Chicago. Sad they can’t just let you view a simple job. I’d understand if there was a valid reason, but someone calling the cops on you because you let them watch your repair is a stretch for a reason I can’t watch a simple alignment done I could do myself if I had access to the equipment. Thank you for allowing me to not find a reputable shop still that’s capable of an alignment on a full size SUV. Ugh
Edit: You have my number if you want to talk and be an honest business and not be in the shadows. If there is nothing to hide, let me watch the alignment be done. I even offered to pay $100 more just for being able to watch.

Eric is super helpful and his prices are beyond reasonable. I know we can trust him with our vehicles and that is so hard to find these days. We will be lifelong customers!
