Went into store Sunday oct 12th, 2025 PA side to purchase few sodas at approx 5:40 pm, employee on NY register was doing something with her drawer, but MacKenzie (PA side clerk) who should have been waiting on me, chose to drink and slurp her iced whatever and stand at counter and go over and push buttons on ny register, then come back and continue slurping her drink. She was not engaged in conversation with the employee on ny , she just kept sucking and slurping on her drink. She finally waited on me after her final slurp. Customer service skills are horrible at dandy. However no employee should be drinking or eating in front of any customer in public service. Absolutely rude and disgusting.

I come here every other time I head up or down to Elmira because it’s on the way. The gas is usually cheaper here compared to other places around the area. I never had a problem in the store until today, the workers are usually pretty nice. I usually stop by the pump, grab a drink and a pizza, pay, pump, then leave. Every time I usually have my wallet on me but I use tap to pay anyways. Today, I came in after working out for the Air Force delayed entry program and I was exhausted and hungry, and needed gas so I stopped here. I was really thirsty so I had a sip of my drink before going to the register, I was obviously going to pay for it. Before this whole situation I changed before the workout, I was running late so I left my house and forgot my wallet. I got everything to check out and this lady is already exhausted and it was a rush. I get it I literally work as a cashier at a grocery store, but I tried to use tap to pay because that’s how I usually pay anyways and it wasn’t working, so she started acting like I was such a bad guy for doing that. I tried to stay and pay for it, but she just brushed me off. I was going to ask her if I could pay with the other register, if it worked. I mean I literally drank from it, but she just wanted to be done with me, so I left. Not only did she act rude to me before the whole situation, she also was kind of rude to the customers before me. I get when things don’t work while at work, one time it happened where I work, where the tap to pay wasn’t working, but it was only on one register, but I would tell people before checking out that it wasn’t working, but the others worked fine. Also if I ever have a problem with a customer I am NEVER rude to them like that, it’s literally your job to at least act nice to them. A lot of people come in without their wallet going to pay with Apple Pay and it was completely fine, but how can you be mad at someone that your store does regularly for doing that when you can’t even warn people beforehand, then you act like it’s all the customers fault.

Bad service, spent almost $50. I ordered a pizza for pickup, half pepperoni and half sausage. My wife doesn’t like sausage that’s why we do half and half. When I got there the pizza wasn’t done so I bought $35 of beer to fill in the time. I have a family of four so I asked for paper plates, plastic silverware and napkins.
After waiting another 7-10 minutes the pizza arrived but no paper plates, etc. I was in a hurry so I grabbed the pizza and went home. I got home and opened the box and it was a two topping pizza instead of half and half. My wife said take it back so I called the store and told them they had made a mistake. They apologized and so I brought the pizza back and they made me a new one. However, as nice as they were about the mistakes they had made, somehow I felt like I had done something wrong. When I picked up pizza I saw a plastic bag with paper plates and silverware sitting on a counter. I asked about it and it was mine so they made two mistakes.
Ultimately, as much as they apologized I felt like they didn’t respect my time and compensate me for my time of going to the store twice. It’s too bad because my wife and I enjoy their pizza. Where we live out only other option is Dominoes. We’ve now ordered three pizzas in 4 weeks. I thought they should’ve compensated me for my time but it is what it is. Go back Dominoes? IDK
UPDATE: 5/22/25. No one bothered to call me regarding their lack of professionalism by disrespecting my time. I had to drive back the store to get a new pizza because they made it wrong. i asked to have it delivered and they laughed. I asked to be compensated for my time, no response. I haven't been back there since this incident. I've been in business for over 30 years, if I screw up i compensate my clients so they don't go somewhere else. It's 10 times more expensive to get new clients as compared to keeping the ones you already have.

This really sucks I have stopped here several nights needing a coffee to keep awake and can never get a coffee after 8 pm this is very upsetting when you buy 3 coffees at a time there just to lazy to make a pot

Horrible I waited 25 minutes for a turkey sub because all the people that work there were out back smoking cigarettes. Dandy’s have definitely went downhill. I will be spending my money elsewhere from here on out.

Way below good service poor attitudes with no work ethic or how to make there food in a timely manner on top on actually make the food taste good took them 42 minutes to make to whole subs and they were nasty ?

Gas is at 4.85 here for regular. The staff was pleasant and greeted me as I entered. However , they need to wipe down the food cases and counter areas and go thru the cold case to check expirations on the perishable foods. And temperature. Unless the item I bought didn't get into the refrigerator in a timely manner.I ended up buying a curdled milk.

Purchased cigarettes. Questioned price. Clerk was unresponsive. Assumed taxes went up. Left store. Checked receipt. Realized that I was charged 10.00 more because I requested a carton versus 10 packs. Again, specifically asked the clerk why the price hwas 10.00 more than the advertised 8.20 per pack. No response. Called after realizing I was overcharged and was told that cigarettes can't be returned. Customer service is atrocious. None of the employees want to be there.
