“Over all this gym has been a great experience.The customer service has improved and it's never to busy. Most of the time the equipment is available. Love the steam room. It also has hot tub and sauna. Two large pools also. Side note.I have noticed members have been leaving towls and discarded items in the locker room more. The staff need to check this more regularly. Or members that read this. Close your locker and clean up after yourself. Who raised you? Photos coming soon”

“Dragon Gym has been a fantastic experience for my son. He's been attending for several years at this point and he has gained so much more than simply learning martial arts. There are a number of skills beyond karate that he has learned such as discipline, focus, leadership, confidence and communicating clearly to name a few.All the instructors at Dragon Gym have been great to work with and are extremely supportive. “I took an uplift class with Coach Jess. I was nervous because I have quirky things that cause some physical activity to be difficult but she was able to adapt almost everything to make sure that I was still able to do all the movements and feel super strong. She didn't make me feel uncomfortable and I never felt pressured to do more than I thought I could handle even if she thought I could handle more. I started the class with minimal weight lifting knowledge and finished today feeling both confident in weight lifting abilities and my body control in doing exercises. Her knowledge, personality, and humor made the classes fun. I'd totally recommend anyone taking the class if you need trauma informed weight lifting. If you're just looking for a great coach at a weight lifting gym... she's also your girl.”

Good local gym without the overwhelming corporate look and feel. The community is nice and feels safe at any hour. It's tucked away in Newton Square's Ellis Preserve.”

“Good evening Google Family. I visited for the first time today to donate Power red blood for the American Red Cross. I have not donated in a minute because my hemoglobin is always too low. It was great to be back out donating again. My appointment was 8 am and I was late about 20 minutes. However the young lady volunteer at the desk took my information, meaning my donor card and my id and then I sat and waited until they called me. Anthony, one of the Red Cross phlebotomists, called me and then I was ready to sit down at the desk where they take your blood pressure and your hemoglobin and your temperature. I was ecstatic when the equipment read 12.7. I was over the moon, that meant I could give power red!!!! I wanted to dance, I was so thrilled!!! I was prepared with my blanket to wrap around my legs since its get cold in the donor room. I completed my successful donor Power Red appointment and then I went to sit and eat snacks, like Lorna Doone, the oreo cookies, cheddar cheese snacks, water and Welch's candy. They even had a new snack which consisted of blueberry and lemons. I hung out there about 30 minutes and I asked how I could recruit other African-Americans since there is a shortage of African-American donors. Michele, who handled my donation, asked Chris, another employee and Chris provided me a number to call directly to the Red Cross so that I could ask about donor recruitment. I had a successful appointment and I would not mind donating blood here again. The YMCA was staffed with workers to receive people going to workout. There was one young lady scanning everyone's key card. I had a good experience and I would return. Have a good night, workout, be healthy, fit and Fabulous especially for people over 50 years of age.”

The gym offers private training as well as group fitness classes. The coaches are great! Very knowledgeable and supportive and motivating. “My 13 yo son started their middle school program a few months ago. We really appreciate the organization of the program and the instruction from the trainers. The flexible schedule is great and it's easy to register through the app. But most importantly, my son is getting stronger and gaining confidence which translates to his other sports. It's a very positive experience so far and we will soon be enrolling our younger son.”

I’m only in the area for a limited time due to family obligations and they have gone above and beyond to be accommodating. All the coaches and fellow members have been wonderful.”

“TOTAL GYM changed my life. I was a scrawny mid 20's guy that needed muscle, so with the power of TOYAL GYM in my head, I bought the "knock-off" version and did the workouts I was supposed to do. I went from 145lb skinny to building and defining muscle mass and bulked to 179lb nive looking guy. And finally was comfortable taking my shirt off. Playing beach volleyball on Daytona Beach, Florida, with no shirt on and having the ladies wink and smile at you, felt damn good, finally. “i recently signed up to give crossfit a try for the first time ever and couldn't be happier to have found such a great gym with such helpful, knowledgeable and motivating instructors. the other members are so welcoming, kind, caring and inclusive. this is a culture that I've not seen in any other gyms ive tried and belonged to in the area. Clearly, this culture comes from the top down and the people running this place truly care to help each individual(s) be and get the best results possible. Im working thru a torn rotator cuff injury but the instructors custom-tailor my class workouts that protect me from further injury but still push me to get the most out of each workout. If you were on the fence about checking this place out, come in, say hi and see for yourself! Personally, having coaches, classmates and friends here really helped me to get out of my weak gym routine at my now former gym.”
