“We LOVE Philly Foodworks! We get a farm box every week and then do a la carte for most of our other foods for the week. Having fresh veggies, bread, cheese, fruits, kombucha, and tofu delivered once a week is so incredible. The quality and taste of the food is delicious (we joke that we are ruined for grocery store veggies at this point) and we've gotten to explore so many new types of veggies and fruits we'd never even heard of before. I also love being able to easily skip things if we're out of town and also subscribe to things, so I know we'll get it each week. I could not recommend this service enough! Would also recommend doing it with Bennett Compost, so all the scraps go right into the compost and the cycle continues!”
“That’s a pic of my backyard in South Philly. See those geraniums on top of the fireplace? We bought those at Platt’s in May. That was 6 months ago. It’s currently November 24th and 40 degrees outside. I have no idea what they do with these plants, but whatever it is, it’s right.”
“We moved ed from Dexel Hill to Broomall about 8 yes. ago. Both until that time life long residents of Drexel Hill. We remember when it opened but honestly haven't been there in a while. Stopped for lunch meat, produce and my wife got an Italian Hoagie and Matt made me ( GF allergy) a Hamm n Cheese with all the fixings in a dish. I got to say it was spooky good it didn't miss the roll. My wife's ws delicious and on a Sarcones roll which is simply put none better. I am sure we will be back much sooner. Awesome neighborhood store offer top notch selection of Italian meats, cheeses,sides and so much more.”
“Back at the Italian market like I always am every week picking up my weekly supplies of fresh fruit. I come across the best deals here by far when it comes to blueberries and strawberries today my favorite stand had blueberries for $1.50 for a 16 ounce container and same for the strawberries. They were fully ripened. I’m sure that’s why they were a little less expensive than normal nevertheless, you gotta get while they’re getting good few pictures here.”
“I got all the things that I need and a little more but customer service was everything, they’re very respectful and very homey. It doesn’t feel like a market maybe because it’s black owned and I don’t have to worry about if the fruits are fake or not because everything there is organic. “Good Evening Google Family. This was my very first time shopping here and it will not be my last. I was going to come here another time after visiting Ardent Credit Union, since its close by, but I decided to go to another produce spot, Produce Junction. I enjoyed the lay out of the store. Everything was so nice and clean. The produce was arranged very nicely. They had other things besides produce, drinks, and snacks. I thought all they had was produce, but they had deli products, cheese and vegetables like broccoli and protein bars. The owner was very nice and smiled. I enjoyed my experience here. I purchased bananas, cut up watermelon, cut up melon and cut up pineapple. They also had the whole pineapple. I enjoyed walking around the store. I will be back to patronize this establishment again. “Thier produce looked fresh and clean. The pizzas are worth the money. Thier prices overall are great. The store is smaller than your average bigger name store but are packed with great prices and quality. I was pleasantly surprised at my total grocery bill and will be going back. For the kids you really see the savings on snacks. This was my first time shopping here it was worth the trip.”
“Exactly all the reviews are right that’s should how receivers work or shipper. I came around 1:40am saw that trucks are parked front of docks decided to park random door also and around 3am very gentle guy came out from office collected all the paperwork’s from all the trucks where ever you park just open your door stay on the same door and with in 40 minutes full load of produce empty. So satisfying with their service I wish all the wearhouse would be like that. So trucking would be one step easier. Thank you”

“Good Evening Google Family. This is my first time visiting this location of Aldi. It is too close to my house, so thats why I have never shopped here and I never will again. However, I love that they had self check out, I couldn't believe it. The one on Macdade Boulevard and the one in Lansdowne, no self check out. Even though I love this feature of this Aldi Location, I will not shop here again. I like the one on Macdade Boulevard better. There were a lot of produce here and I had to ask someone where the soap products were. I had walked right by them, lol. Everyone was nice though. The customers as well as the employees who worked here. Have a great night Google Family and don't forget to work out!!! Also I hate that in order to get a cart, you need a quarter and sometimes I do not have a quarter. However each time I visit an Aldi location, someone is nice enough to give me a cart and not worry about the quarter. I am going to start giving people the change I have, like two dimes and a nickel when I do not have a quarter. I liked that they had cart wipes here, the other Aldi locations, I could not find any cart wipes and also I liked that they had a trash can by the entrance and exit.”

“The store itself is good, always clean and well stocked. Unfortunately a lot of homeless and mentally ill people hang around outside. The parking lot gets crowded easily as well. Get there early for the best experience.”

The vibe is like a gastronomic carnival - stalls buzzing with flavors, aromas performing acrobatics, and every bite a ticket to taste-bud paradise. The staff here? Friendlier than a golden retriever at a belly rub convention. I embarked on a food safari, starting with a cheesesteak that was basically a sandwich symphony. The soft pretzels were like carb clouds, and don't even get me started on the donuts - they're basically rings of happiness! The variety is mind-blowing; I wandered from hoagies to dumplings, oysters to gyros, all within a culinary compass gone haywire. The Pennsylvania Dutch treats? If you haven't navigated this foodie Disneyland yet, you're missing out on a culinary carnival that makes everyday a food adventure. “Every time I shop at Aldi’s, the team is always friendly and welcoming. They’re constantly working hard restocking shelves, happy to help, and they never miss saying “Good morning.” On one visit, I accidentally left a product behind after purchasing it, and they kindly replaced it. “Aldi is wonderful. Lowest prices by far for fruit, produce, and all dairy products. Wide variety of organics available as well as many gourmet items. Definitely check it out it will be worth your time.”

“Small but clean. Don't leave without getting a samosa—have them warm it up. It's delicious! Lots of yummy Indian sweets as well. And the man working the cash register was patient and nice.
Only reason for deducting 1 star is, I wish they'd had more south Indian snack items. There is a small display near the front with smaller/ snack bags of murukku, thattai, etc, but not much and no larger bags.
Still, great place to run in and grab what you need. Also good variety of aachar.”
“This niche, unnoticeable small produce/ co-op or co-op like store offers fresh food. If it can go bad then it might be on discount or even free. Definitely a neighborhood store to help the community with some healthy food options potentially. I stuck out that the employee was wondering what I was doing at this venue until I said TooGoodToGo. I felt like I would've been a nuisance without this unexpected "carte blanche." In my goodies bag, I ended up with two cinnamon? Muffins, 1 or 2 corns, croissants, peach cups, carrots, mushrooms. Almost docked a star but the man was nice enough to take his time to pack me some goodies and then pointed me to the free table of things as well. A man on the side of the street was trying to say hi to me but I thought he was going to ask me for money. So I didn't reply. I knew that I was in a respectable neighborhood (Cobbs Creek) but I also know that I don't live here, I stick out, and it is Philadelphia proper. It felt awkward to look around inside the small store even though there were 10 min left. Everything seemed ready for closing up. I would've gotten there sooner but personal things came up. But I did still make it on time thankfully. I guess you could say, I really get around!”

“Literally one of the only affordable places to buy groceries in the city. Produce is hit or miss and don't buy off brand cereal lol but everything else, and the fact that I'm in and out in under an hour, is great! There's hardly ever a line for the self checkout, too! The security guards are always friendly, too, it's a nice touch :)”

“I stopped on a whim, & found they had an awesome sale on some great seasonal produce, like peaches. Very happy with my finds there. Staff could use some smiles on their faces so ya don't feel like scum while they don't even look at you, but other than that, the products were good, & plentiful”
