I went to Walgreens today to pick up an anti- nausea medication my dr had sent in yesterday. There had been some confusion with insurance, and my pre-authorization had finally gone through and I had spoken to someone on the phone who said it was ready for pickup. When I asked for it, the younger girl working told me it wasn't ready yet. I unfortunately got a little upset, and started asking to know who had told me it was ready, if it wasn't ready? I am 8 weeks pregnant and having a lot of issues with nausea, and had waited a while to get them resolved, so I was frustrated. She stood her ground, until another employee came and said no, it is actually ready, but wasn't marked as ready in the system yet because the pharmacist had to check it (not her fault at all). The other employee then got the pharmacist out of his break to check the prescription so I could have it. The girl was very apologetic and accommodating, and I feel silly for being a difficult customer. All of this to say, I don't usually look at name tags, but the younger girl with dark hair who works at this location is doing a great job. When I worked in retail, I would not have wanted to deal with me, and would certainly not have apologized! The whole afternoon staff is customer oriented and accommodating. Thanks!

Poor rating due to pharmacy only. No follow up if script is not filled. I am not sure if it's the system or staff that cancels request with no follow up. Pharmacy customer service needs improvement as they do not put in any effort to help or resolve issues. I have switched to Rite Aid and CVS. CVS is proactive in reaching out to the doctor and/or insurance if there's an issue. Star for LabCorp at this location as the nurses are superb! They a friendly and on point. Star for General store. Most staff are friendly and try to get you in and out if busy.

Time waster! Their website (after I looked at websites of other pharmacies) said that they had Covid home testing kits in stock; I ordered and paid for them and got a confirming email. Two hours later, I got another email saying, Oh we don't have those; sale cancelled! I'm done with you, Walgreens, for wasting my time.

I just had a great experience at the photo counter out of what could've been a bad experience. I ordered my prints online through Snapfish and thought that they were going to be able to be picked up at this location. Upon arriving, half of my prints went through and the other half did not. The Walgreens associate that helped me out was so nice. They assisted in helping me locate how to find these photos and eventually helping me sit down and order them at the little kiosk in the store. Then as soon as I was waiting for them and wandering down isles, thinking I would buy useless things to waste time, the associate came and let me know my photos were ready. They let me look at them beforehand and I am just so grateful to have such a nice, warm human sympathize and be willing to help out. Best experience at a Walgreens yet! All because of that one person!

Good evening Yelp Family!!! I usually do not patronize Walgreen's Drug and Pharmacy, choosing instead to patronize my favorite drugstore, CVS. Mom and I decided to stop here because it was on our way to the One Dollar Zone and the CVS was across the street. I certainly was not aware that this location of Walgreens stays open 24 hours every day. Great information, so the next time I need a close drugstore I can come here. Also the CVS on State Road and Lansdowne Avenue is open 24 hours, 7 days a week. Mom only wanted a few items, such as Cod Liver Oil vitamin pills and she purchased two other items. I must add that the sales associate was not friendly, as she didn't speak when we placed the items on the counter. I spoke to her and she was asking if we had a rewards card, not bothering to speak first and then to ask if we had a rewards card. I said no and then she asked was I interested and I said yes and then I keyed in my phone number and then she asked for my name and then I was asked was the spelling correct and then the machine asked for my birthdate, which I do not like revealing to anyone, not even a machine and then some other prompts and then I was told that they did not have anymore rewards cards and that I could key in my phone number from now on whenever I enter any Walgreen's location. My transaction was completed and Mom and I prepared to leave and we put our Walgreen's cart back. As we were leaving I heard the sales associate speak to the next customer behind us and I wondered why she didn't speak to us or give us the same treatment as she gave this other customer. The store is a fair size because I have seen larger Walgreen's. There is a nice size parking lot, with plenty of parking for customers. Okay till next review, Yelp Family!! See ya!!!!

Sometimes you can’t find what you’re looking for because they are out of stock of the item.

I submitted an request for a prescription refill online. I received a phone call saying they were contacting my doctor for a refill. I waited and called to check on the status a couple of days later. They had canceled my request days ago but did not bother to actually notify me. My doctor's office did not notify me either. Now I need to switch doctors and pharmacies.

Walgreen's doesn't honor the GoodRx price on prescriptions and apparently they have a contract with GoodRx to do so. Not only that but they wouldn't honor a price on their own Prescription savings card that I purchased just to get this advertised price. Easier and cheaper to just use Walmart. Pharmacist had zero interest in finding out about the discrepancy in advertising, making me think this is bait and switch. Tried to charge $123.00 for a prescription that I've paid around $35 for many years. Won't be using them again.
