They made us buy an installation kit for our washer. They didn't ask for measurements for where our pipes were. They didn't bring a drain hose long enough to attach so this was their crappy installation that we paid $25 for. Never ever again. We can't even do a full load!!

I strongly recommend avoiding Gerhard's. We ordered an induction oven from them in the Fall 2023. The first one arrived damaged (not their fault). From then, it was impossible to get a replacement item. We were told many times that a new one would arrive. We spoke to managers who assured us we would receive a functional stovetop on a certain day, and then repeatedly did not hear from them. This lasted for 8 weeks during which time we did not have a fully functional kitchen. We wasted countless hours on the phone and in the store trying to simply get the product that we had already paid for. We finally got it replaced, only to continue to receive repeated invoices for the product which we already paid for. We have been told that they would take care of this, yet we continue to get billed to this day. We try to support local business, but the customer service here is atrocious and I would strongly recommend going elsewhere.

After a terrible experience with a local big box store, it was impressed upon me to visit Gerhards (Glenside). This is where I met Dave.After a bit of due diligence and learning which refrigerator brands not to invest in, I landed upon a GE model. I told Dave what I wanted and he made it happen. It was a quick sale on a Monday afternoon with delivery expected on Wednesday. When minor issues were found upon delivery, parts were sent via Fed Ex to my residence. Fast Repair service was quickly scheduled. Dan came out and made everything pretty again. It’s just what he does! Dave even reached out several times in the process, to ensure that I was being well taken care. Thank you, Dave!!P.S. This fridge is so dang quiet, I keep checking to see if it’s on.

John was very professional, knowledgeable and patient. We did not feel pressured at all. The store is very clean and organized. We did not go to the big box stores because wanted personalized service. John gave us just that! He took the time to explain the functions of each appliance and made recommendations based on what we were looking for. We will definitely choose Gerhard’s again when we need to replace appliances in the future.

John Waldinger was extremely knowledgeable, patient with our changes, and was very detailed about what additional items needed to be purchased for a professional installation. John wasn't pushy and didn't try to steer our decision toward a higher priced model. If I need more appliances in the near future, I will seek out John.

We purchased a GE counter depth refrigerator from Gerhard's appliances. Our old fridge came with the purchase of our home 2 years ago and was perfect but way too big. We finally bit the bullet and replaced it with a counter depth and we are so glad we did! It made a huge difference in our kitchen space and our smiles! Love it!!! Thank you, John and Gerhard's.

This experience is worth sharing. Buying items like this can usually be painful but not this time.Mr. Gerhard did everything possible to make it easy on us including delivering our dishwasher to us personally in his own vehicle.The staff is friendly and the showroom is AWESOME!!Thank you we love our new dishwasher ❤️?

Awesome service! Austin G and his team came in clutch after my washer went and my dryer caught on fire. Couldn’t get a better deal for both, and they hauled away the old ones. Was delivered and installed within 2 days!! Truly impressed!

Great experience. Duane was so helpful and easy to work with. After we ordered our fridge in-store with Duane, we came home and realized we’d done our measurements incorrectly. We gave him a call and he helped us place a new order for a new fridge, no problem. If we need any new appliances in the future, we’ll be back!

Had a very nice experience with Duane Bell. He is knowledgeable and helpful in navigating getting the best appliance. The LG dryer was installed and running smoothly.All my appliances are from Gerhard. Better value and service than the few dollars you may save at a big box store. Old appliance removed without charge.
