They say every car has a story, and for Mini Cooper, the stories are more often mysteries. I broke the key fob plastic housing when replacing battery. Bought new fob housing, but couldn't put it back together. I tried the shop where I have car inspected, as well as a place I had a tire changed, no one wanted to deal with it. Thank you to Aaron and Troy, who took on what turned out to be a lengthy challenge, and refused to give up! Very grateful to have a brand new secondary key fob, as well as a new place to do all my routine maintenance. Looking forward to working with this excellent team.

I had a great experience with the team at Pep Boys! They were friendly, quick, and clearly knowledgeable. It was a breath of fresh air compared to my visit at Mavis Tires in Abington, where I was told it would take 2–3 hours just to inspect my brand-new Tesla Model Y—with less than 100 miles on it. Pep Boys got me in and out without the runaround and treated me with respect throughout the process. As long as I’m living in Pennsylvania, this will be my go-to spot. They’ve definitely earned a loyal customer!

Classic bait-and-switch operation. They lure you in with low prices online or over the phone... then hit you with inflated charges once you show up. Dishonest and predatory business tactics. Avoid this place at all costs.

I had an11:30 am appointment and arrived early. I told the manager I had to leave in one hour for a doctors appointment but he made sure my car was ready in one half hour. Kudos🤗

On Feb 17 2025, I went for my Hyundai Kona for a brake check because it sounded as though the rear brakes were dragging a little. The Pepboys diagnosis was that I needed front rotors and rear and front brakes. I paid close to $1000 that day. Today, April 22nd, I went to a dealer for a routine tire-rotation and oil change and found that my brakes had gone from 40% used up when I bought the car in Nov last year to 70% used up today! It's as if the brakes hadn't been replaced by Pepboys at all! I'll have to pay another $1000 for dealership brake replacements! The dealership should have seen evidence that Pepboys replaced those brakes 2 months ago!

DO NOT LEAVE YOUR CAR HERE. I left my car to be inspected. I was walking home and one of the employees was drag racing my car up the side street and drove right by me. I called the shop and got no answer, so I went back up there. When I got there I told the manager what I experienced and he blew me off like it didn’t happen. This was a Saturday, so Monday I called and spoke to the general manager Mike. He told me there is nothing he can do if I don’t have proof like pictures etc. I wanted his manager and he told me he didn’t have one. So I told him I was going to call headquarters. He said go ahead and it would be routed back to him. It was a horrible. I wanted some kind of compensation, got nowhere. Employee admitted he was dogging my car too. They let their employees do anything to your vehicle, so stay there when getting serviced. Too young employees, don’t take their job seriously.
