Serenity. I've rarely encountered others walking here, absolutely love the clean trails.

How have we not discovered a gem so close to us. All old growth forest, very diverse with rare species of oak. The trail map is indecipherable, but most of the trails are loops so it doesn't matter. We'll be going here often.

This spot is a real gem if you like spring ephemerals! I have visited a few times this spring and there is always something new blooming. The trails are muddy this time of year so be ready for that and you will enjoy a well maintained and beautiful piece of earth.
