Worst baking experience of my life! Tried to make a deposit with a NON personal large check by a reputable company and they wanted to place a 10 day hold on it. PNC (who issued the check) did no such thing, only a 24-48 hour hold and we’re able to give me some right away (as Truist lied to me and said was not possible). I have since opened an account with PNC and will be switching EVERYTHING of mine over. I do want to say the young lady that did help me initially was EXTREMELY nice and actually tried to help (I do not remember her name, but she had braces and a white hair cap on) NOW…that being said, her manager on the other hand, kept giving me attitude and eye rolls the entire time like she didn’t believe me about anything. Never have I ever been treated like that in a bank before, especially my so called “Management”. I hope the owner sees this post and this issue is addressed as it seems I am not the first and will DEFINITELY not the the last. I will NEVER be back to any Truist location for any reason other than to close accounts. Thank you guys for absolutely nothing!! (I was a customer for almost 10 years too!). PNC for the win ?

I have always had the most pleasant experience at Truist in Greencastle. The staff is bend-over-backwards helpful and always positive, smiling, and uplifting! I love walking in to be greeted immediately. I recognize how diligent and efficient each teller and staff member is, while still making each guest feel known and heard. It’s a delight each visit!

The head teller, Amber, is passive aggressive, unhelpful, rude and extremely immature. I went in to make a payment on my vehicle loan; she couldn't look up the loan because her system was down but instead of calling another branch or being at all helpful, she was fake and made sure to tell me her title. All the more reason for me to complain. As the teller supervisor, your customer service skills need some improvement. Regards, Former Branch Manager and Investment Specialist

I've been using this bank since it was first national bank. I've always been happy, even through all the hand changes. Their online platform is very user friendly too.

Use to be a good bank but now terrible. Long wait times, snippy staff & ATM's are always down!! I have been a customer for 17 years but this week I am finally changing banks.

Was a great bank at one time. However, The old branch manager left, and went to F&M trust. The new management doesn't care about customer service. Many local small businesses have left BB&T due to unfair fees. Avoid at all costs.
