“This morning I received a call from the fraud department because I had placed some online orders last night. 3 were quite close together so it triggered them to act.We were able to go over my transactions and confirm they weren’t fraud. I am personally very happy they do this as I have had fraud on my debit card at a previous institution that wasn’t as savvy.If you want great service and a group of folks that actually care about you and your money I’d recommend you give them a call.”
“I’ve had accounts with BDFCU since I was a child and left for awhile but then re-opened accounts about 4-5 years ago & I was shocked to see such bad reviews. I understand they definitely aren’t as up to speed as a lot of larger credit unions or banks but I’ve rarely had a bad experience. I can almost always get through to the local branch (although when I don’t, I do feel the call center is almost a waste of time) but I’ve always reached someone when I’ve needed them & I never have an issue with holds or anything like that which I LOVE! I use the secure messaging feature a lot on their app & I get a response within hours & I’ve recently had some issues with refunds that I had to dispute & I was pleasantly surprised at how easy the process was. I do normally go to the main branch so I don’t have a lot of experience or feedback related to the other branches & I have also had a situation with charges causing my card to get blocked but thankfully it wasn’t something I use frequently. There’s always room for growth & improvements but I have no complaints!”
