I would like to recognize Jen. She helped with a battery for my car. Very kind, explained throughout. Unfortunately I forgot to take my receipt. The next day she called and said she put the receipt in a safe place when she realized I had forgotten it. I was then able to pick it up. I appreciated her going the extra step for me! Thank you! I’m

I went to this store after receiving no help from a competitor store. I was greeted the moment I walked in from Andy, who helped me find my part. I know nothing about cars and he was so patient and kind. He offered to replace the bulb for me and I so appreciated it. It was so chilly out, but he took care of it so quickly and with a smile. Not only did he do a great job, but he was so friendly. I greatly appreciate his attention to detail and knowledge!

As a previous AAP 1219 employee, I feel proud for having worked at this store. I have moved away from this area and will always come for a visit when I come back “home”. On my last visit I was browsing the store and not one employee working did I know…. Now “working” is a strong term as I was over hearing the conversation and it was from a store manager (grey shirt) degrading and belittling his employee with his words. As the rage inside me was burning I had to remove myself from the store. I never thought I would feel so uncomfortable in my old workplace and I wasn’t even behind the counter. I hope Advance can get that manager some trining on respect for employees and customers who visit that store. I guess it’s not a surprise to me now that the people who I trained, and respected have left for other jobs within the company or elsewhere. I would no subject myself to that abuse either.

Went here yesterday, the guy behind the desk (in a grey shirt, so management) had no idea how to pull up team member discount. Tried searching me in the store database and when I suggested he should use speedperks database (since I live in FL) he told me “dude chill out, let me think about what I need to do”. My tone wasn’t aggressive, but he sure was. Seems like he needs a review on speedperks lookup and customer interactions. Sadly the other two workers were doing a battery install or I would’ve asked them. All and all he gave up, and I didn’t get my discount. Could’ve done it myself but he probably would’ve thrown a fit. Not a good look from another employee of AAP.

I went in to get my car battery checked. the guy working there had no idea where to put the negative wire I had to show him where to put it. he told me that they might not change the battery cuz the location I said that's okay I know where to go. so I went to O'Reilly's and they changed it.
