We bank here also. Tellers are very friendly and not much wait as other banks down the road.

Dollar Bank bought Standard Bank and is not interested in keeping any customers happy, their response is if you don't like our service move to another bank.

Up until today I have never had a problem with the bank at Greengate. However today I drove through the drive-thru and one of the tellers motioned for me to come inside. The drive-thru is supposed to be open till 8:00 p.m. and I was there at 4:00 p.m. if I had wanted to come inside I would have done so instead of driving through the drive-thru. Very disappointed! I went to a different Dollar Bank that was friendlier.

Finally, a vehicular banking win! After not being able to make a deposit so far on my way home I gave it one more shot before I got home. Dollar Bank is not a disappointment to me in any manner, each time I stop at a branch I can do my business and be on my way. I pulled in here, pulled right up to the ATM, and deposited my check. Nothing more needs to be said. Dollar Bank always pulls through for me. Fun fact about this location, it is basically the only remaining piece of the old Greengate Mall. It is the only piece of the mall that is still standing. When they cleared the way for Greengate Center it was left intact. It's like holding onto the past. If you want to picture what the mall was like, just look at this building.

The people who work here are incredibly nice and tolerant (or at least capable of pretending to be tolerant enough) when you're still new or ask questions most people already know the answer to.

Have had a few banks but never one like this, they truly care about their customers on a personal level and go above and beyond to help and take care of you and your financial needs!

I just opened an account there, but when I opened the account they told me that I owed them $39.00 and change from an overdrawn savings account in 1998. Almost 20 years ago. Of course I can't prove it, but I know 150% that I did not have a savings account in1998. I never received any thing in the mail and my credit report never reflected any money owed to a bank I would love to contest this but of course I have no proof. Needless to say I will be watching this bank very carefully. First sign of anything amiss I will contact the proper people.

Excellent bank. The strongest bank in the Pittsburgh market by a landslide; having no shareholders to get rich off of bank profits, which, in turn enables them to reinvest this money back into the bank benefiting their customers, by offering better rates in both loans and deposits. The oldest bank in the Pittsburgh market, proving that their board makes fiscally sound decisions, thereby enabling the bank to remain independent. PERIOD.

I've had an account with this bank since I was a kid. They have always been great, answering my questions and helping me throughout the years in terms of new savings accounts, etc. I've never had an overdraft fee, and I've gotten my account down to $20 at one point while I waited anxiously for my school loans to come in. he only issue I've ever had was during travel, and not more so with the main headquarters rather than this branch. I called prior to traveling to have a note placed in my account that I would be in another country and that charges in that country were not fraudulent. I was told the note was in place and that I was good to go. But the first time I used the card it was denied due to 'fraudulent activity'. I've since found that calling twice, once earlier in the month and once right before tends to ensure the note is in place. It's a pain to have to do it twice, but it's better than not having a card to use.

At first, opening an account at this bank sounded like a good idea. Seven months in and I've had thousands of dollars STOLEN by Dollar Bank through being overdrafted when there is no reason to be. I've been overdrafted $36.00 a couple times per month, with it being TEN TIMES this month alone this time, despite being in the positive. $500 in my checking became negative $76.00 just because they wanted to steal my money. You go in to talk to a customer service representative and all the rep (Debbie was the woman I spoke to) does is call you stupid, condescend you, and then tell you that you should have paid more attention to what was in your account. News flash, I WAS paying attention to what was in my account, that is how I caught Dollar Bank overdrafting the hell out of me for literally no reason whatsoever! They refuse to check their system to see if there was an error, the will move the computer monitor in every direction possible to prevent you from seeing your own account information, and the only thing you will hear them say is them telling you it is your fault a tone that is very rude and condescending while also saying "It's just how the system is" with no further explanation as to how or why you got fined. You request them to give advice on your account, they then begin taking an offended and increasingly belittling tone. Their online customer service and management are not much better, either. If anything, avoid Dollar Bank (especially this location) unless you want to be robbed by the bank and insulted by the workers. Don't believe me, look at every review of this bank on Google; not a single good review, all of which saying exactly what I'm saying here, outside of the Pittsburgh branches.
