My local repairman was on vacation so I decided to take my leaf blower to the Halifax store where i had bought it, to be repaired. When I dropped it off I was told it was a quick repair, they assumed it was an ignition coil and that they cost around $10. I looked them up on line and that is what they cost. 2 weeks later I called looking for my blower only to be told that they had just ordered the part that day. I called after another 2 week's only to be told that it was in God's hands when it would be fixed. I went to pick it up today and the bill was $139. God's prices must have skyrocketed. For another $50 ,I could have bought a new one. I strongly advise everyone to never go there for service.

In the past I rented a skid steer or mini excavator locally from this store. But they have revamped their rental pricing after THEY made bad business decisions. Now instead of renting a piece of equipment for $400-$500, they want nearly $1,000 for that same rental.Is that a way to treat a loyal local customer?I’ve taken my business elsewhere.

Great customer service,they carry many different items & will check with the other hardwares that are local to see if they might have the item you are looking for! The new addition is now their main hardware store & the other side(the orginal store) is for repairs & equipment sales.

The guy who waited on me here. Was incredible. He was an older guy, who was new on the job. He was so accommodating! I needed a tarp because it was raining. He was incredibly helpful!
