I was there during the development process when other post office locations such as Valier were closed. At that time we were told of the restricted hours and that people could still have mailboxes. In fact, at that time my personal and corporate boxes were the ONLY ones rented at the post office. I've always found the part time employees anxious to help if not the best trained for a VERY part time jog. I'm a son of a post master and the post office was in our house in McGees Mills. I also worked in the post office and know we spent up to three hours each week in reading new manuals, not something you can do when that is nearly as much time as you work in a week. I use the post office because my rural punxsutawney mail box keeps getting damaged and is very insecure.

Hours are terrible. If you get a package you have a 1.5 hour window to get it. The flag is either not up or left up all night with no light. Floors are always dirty leaves all over. I wish I had a roadside box. Wrong mail in boxes all the time. Postmaster apparently can't read.
